Impeachment, heathcare, ending the war and the 2008 election pump up the liberals at SRO KPTK forum

A wild, SRO crowd packed the Town Hall tonight, to hear the top of KPTK's line-up, Big Ed Schultz, Stephanie Miller, Thom Hartmann, Mike Malloy, and the Young Turks: Ben Mankiewicz, and Cenk Uygur.

(We wangled our way into the meet & greet before the show, and stood around drinking Pluto water, and sucking up the hummus with KPTK clients and the CBS suits as the talk stars ogled us, and picked who'd be singled out to get lucky after the show. Stephanie looked at us like we were a piece of meat- we sucked in our muscles and tried looking unperturbed...).

Radio alert: thom hartmann to the ron reagan show

Air America talker, Thom Hartmann (KPTK m-f, 9a-12p) will talk to Ron Reagan (KIRO m-f, 12-1p) in just minutes at about 12:30p. He'll be bumping his new book, Screwed, The Undeclared War Against the Middle Class And What We Can Do About It.

It's a rare, ecumenical talk radio moment when a talker on a rival station in the same market is even acknowledged, much less invited as a guest.

Hartmann will appear in Seattle at a sold-out KPTK station event Saturday night at Town Hall moderating a panel called Perfect Presidents or Perfect Politicians? with liberal talkders Stephanie Miller, Ed Schultz, The Young Turks, and Mike Malloy.
