Mike Siegel, who recently migrated from morning drive to afternoon drive without even a press release from KKOL, has now disappeared from the line-up altogether.

Lou dobbs moderates his views on illegals: what’s he running for?

  Advocating for legislation that only a few months ago he called “shamnesty,” Lou Dobbs (KKOL m-f, 3-6p) has suddenly damped own the red hot, xenophobic, anti-Mexican balloon juice that got him fired from CNN, and made him the hero of the far right.

He must be running for something.

The incredible shrinking seattle talk radio... or ... why we don’t have much to write about any more

Conservative talk radio was invented in Seattle, now it’s as endangered as the wild Puget Sound salmon. and let’s face it, save Dave Ross, there ain’t no local liberal talk.

With the KVI’s elimination of Kirby Wilbur, another block of local airtime went to out-of-town, out-of-touch, syndicated blabbermeisters- sending a butt-load of ad $ somewhere else.

Lou dobbs exits CNN, finally!

Latino activists are declaring victory tonight as fatuous xenophobe Lou Dobbs (KKOL m-f, 6-8p) announced he’s leaving CNN, a company he helped found. After 30 years, the network allowed him to be released early from his contract- his last show was tonight. Dobbs will keep his radio show which has nothing to do with CNN.

Dobbs’ senile, anti-Hispanic, birther ramblings have embarrassed the cable network which is prides itself on maintaining some semblance of objectivity and a long record of racial fairness.

Will KPTK step up to radio reality?

Seattle liberal-interest money groups have long talked up the possibility of buying a radio station to counter the overwhelmingly conservative news talk stations in a market that's overwhelmingly liberal.

That's probably not a good idea, since it's been proven many times that radio should be left to radio professionals...Oh wait, that's right, a generation of professionals put radio where it is today: in the shit.
