« BREAKING: Fisher Sold To Sinclair. | Main | Fisher Investor claims $41.00-share offer too low: Files lawsuit to stop sale to Sinclair »

April 12, 2013

Well so much for the idea of moving Bob from the Bob and Groz show to team with Brock, then having Mike Gastineau join Groz from noon to 3. Of course half the time it would only be Gasman on the air when Groz is "ill".

12th Man

I hope that ESPN Radio is awarded the next NFL national radio package one the current deal with Dial Global expires. 10 years ago, if you were watching FSN(now Root Sports), there was a blonde gal named Kerry Sayers. Perhaps ESPN ought to hire her.

Boring Sports!!! Dump ESPN!

Yawn!!! Boring. This blog has lost all appeal.

Phillip J. Longwater III

It's really not so much that this blog has lost all appeal, as it is radio has lost all appeal.

There's very little to update here because there's very little worth updating anymore in radio; especially Seattle radio; especially Seattle talk radio - which this blog is supposed to be all about.

Just take a quick peek every few days at RadioDiscussions.com. 6 or 7 years ago there would be 20 or 30 new posts every day and several new topics.

Now, KIRO can totally reshuffle their line-up and no one even bothers to post.

Because no one gives a shit any more.

Fisher took KVI and went to some nonsense format and no one gave a shit. Then they switched back...and ta da! No one still gives a shit.

Bonneville has switched program directors 6 times since they took over KIRO in 2008 and no one gives a shit.

KIRO has switched morning shows more frequently than that morning news editor Mister Total Makeover guy changes his skid-marked underwear. And no one gives a shit anymore.

Gregg & Jane to Tony Miner to News Chick to Bill Radke to John Curley to Dave Ross.

Yawn. (No shit given).

Good job radio!

H. P. "Hal" Throckmorton III- ceo, Dream15/Savant Fund Ltd..

Ross wants out, ready to be fitted for a bowtie and replace whatshisname at CBS Radio Commentary.......Monson is a child, a puerile , pugnacious punk, and the show is unlistenable for more than fifteen minutes at a time, Luke "kind of a big deal" Burbank is an insufferable twerp......

Oh, sounds like old times there H.P. Gave me a smile. And Phillip, well put.

When C2C is the best you can say about KIRO, you know they're cooked. But that last guy to whom they've given over evening hours, he's the worst. Okay, even worse than Dori and that's hard to admit.
