On Dec 1st, 2011, KGO 810 San Francisco ended a long tradition of live, local hosts. A year later KCBS (#3) is still eating KGO' lunch (#12). We thought we would showcase the last hour of the last show of the Ray Talliaferro program, previously heard from 1A-5A on KGO 810. From Dec.1 2011.
Thank you for that! Listening brought back a lot of memories of hours spent listening to Ray during my years of insomnia. I didn't happen to to hear the final night, so it was great.
I miss you Ray.

I miss him too. Losing the KGO that was has reverberated throughout the Bay Area, and in some ways, here as well. Corporate radio will never be as good as what we used to have available to us.

There is no such thing when it was the white folks who wrote the laws

Earth to Preston - hence Racism from blacks on whites is known as reverse racism.

There is no such animal as reverse-racism. Yes, minorities can practice racism or bigotry, but it is called racism and bigotry. After all reverse-racism is un-racism or non-racism, but I don’t think this was the point.
