We go back to 1973 when KTW 1250 "2 way News Radio" emerged and Aaron Brown, known as "Skip" had a Saturday call-in program and Wayne Cody did a sports show there, before his move to KIRO, courtesy of Victor Stredicke's NWfyi.com ,formally seatacradio.com. Greg Palmer, Bill Russell hosted shows there as well.
November 1973 – Saturday talk shows are now on KTW, with Skip [Aaron] Brown from nine to noon and Sally Roth from noon to 3 PM. Dave Newton, station manager, expects to add a Sunday talk show in December. Weekday morning news coverage will be coordinated by Phil Cogan, recently from Monterey, and Kevin Kelley, former KBES newsman.
*Aaron Brown began his radio career offering stringer news reports of Hubert Humphrey’s Minnesota campaign for Mutual Broadcasting System. Aaron Brown married Charlotte Raynor, who also worked at KING-TV News in 1982. At the time, another married couple from the newsroom was Jim Lalonde and Linda Brill. Any others?
I still miss Aaron Brown. One of the few honest journalists around. No nonsense with Aaron. I'd take him over Anderson any day. Can anyone imagine hard-news Aaron hosting an afternoon talk show?

I heard Aaron Brown was a real jerk. An ex-housemate's mom dealt with him once (back in the mid-80's) and he turned out to be a real schister.
Wayne Cody was one of a kind as a sportscaster, but hung out with the unsavory crowd in real life. Too bad he didn't take better care of himself - he may still be around today if he had.
