Hedge Fund Hal

you need a "dead girl or a live boy" now, as the old politico saying goes to change Mitt's momentum, and we all know how likely that is....bwahahahahahah....CNN's John King said tonight that Mitt's forward momentum has now slowed some, but it is still slowly going forward, and if it continues at even this slower pace for the next two weeks, Romney will win the election.... King is being fair and honest........

Hedge Fund Hal

The Trumpster announced today he will having something big on Obama...Don will be announcing the bombshell on Wednesday......it's big...really big...as in election-clinching big..............it's going to be big, folks......

Ivanna

why not announce it now, or is Trump pimping around for a buyer?

Hedge Fund Hal

"horses and bayonets" way to blow your chances in Virgina , Barry, where you're already behind. All the shipbuilders and their families . friends and related businesses in Virginia will be thrilled by your comment.

Virginia will be thrilled by your comment.

Really Hal? So Mitt will be funneling tax payer monies to Virginia in hopes for a vote? Then why not provide monies to Michigan to rescue the auto industry?

Romney’s Final Debate Message: I’ll Be A Better Obama.

Hedge Fund Hal

KS its a Foxnewsinsider "instant poll"......not a Foxnews scientific poll......bwahahahaha...looks like Obama's minions, probably paid Team Obama campaign workers are jamming the website with their votes on the instant poll.....

Hedge Fund Hal

Romney took the young man to school on his "apology tour".......this fellow really is not used to anyone challenging him, let alone someone of the wealth and stature of Romney...

KS blathers

The 61-38% Obama advantage is an outlier - think the leftists have flooded the polls. Here's another take from a Fox pundit - quite the opposite;

"Syndicated columnist Charles Krauthammer reacted to the third presidential debate at Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida. He said, “I think it’s unequivocal Mitt Romney won.”

Krauthammer told Megyn Kelly on Fox News that Romney won both tactically and strategically. He assessed that Romney had to show the American people that he was someone they can trust as commander in chief.

During the debate, he said, “Romney went large. Obama went very, very small – shockingly small. Romney made a strategic decision not to go after the president on Libya or Syria or other areas where Obama could accuse him of being a Bush-like war monger.”

Romney does not come across as a cowboy war-monger like Bush/Cheney, probably the best message in foreign policy that came across in this debate. That was the biggest concern I had about him and I'll feel deceived and will vote for the Democrat in 2016 if this does not play out.

Hedge Fund Hal

Chris Wallace said if he didn't know better he would have thought Obama was the challenger and Romney was the President. Once Romney wisely chose not to take the bait on Benghazi, Obama should have changed strategy and not tried to do a do-over of debate 2. Romney was taking th high road tonight, but Obama was still down there in the Chicago backalley trying to deliver kidney punches and kicks to the groin. His Mr. Angry, Mean and Small act did not help him tonight. A more skiled political candidate could have possibly pulled himself out of the tailspin that the first debate started, but Obama is just too full of kneejerk anger, arrogance and hubris when dealing with polite but tough challenges to his leadership and record to be able to reverse direction, or stop the cycle. No one likes angry and mean.

"Angry and mean" code words for black folks to 'know their place'

Hedge Fund Hal

"know their place".....bwhahahahaahahaha...as Sigmund Freud would say- somtimes "angry and mean " just means "angry and mean".........

Hedge Fund Hal

hahahahahahaahaha now they are reduced to playing the race card....... can you say you're really surprised KS?

Observer

Well, we certainly know who won this debate, don't we 'Hal. After all, '...we've also reduced horses and bayonets..' was the zinger of all zingers. Romney looked perplexed. It's all over, Hal face it. Bwahahaha

Moderate Mike

Hedge Fund Hal called it. Playing the race card is the refuge of scoundrels and TS.

Front page NY Times: Editorial: The Final Debate

Mitt Romney sounded confused and incoherent and had no original ideas of substance.

Hahahaha. Nobody needs a race card on this one. It's over folks.

Rmoney was stuck on talking points, and agreeed on everything the president has done and is planning to do. i thought it was funny when mittens complained, when criticized, that the president was attacking him personally. what would he do when faced with a hardline foreign leader? cry; awwww, you sunk my battle ship...

mittens ain't ready for prime time.

Obama as Commander-in-Chief, Romney as Dithering Bully

R. Reich, Huffington

Hedge Fund Hal

You don't seem to get it libbers....your guy didn't need to impress the snide, smuggy elitist bigots at the NYTimes and Huffpo last night- he needed a takedown of Romney and a momentum stopper- nothing less. Just did not happen. unfortunately the voters didnt see it your way, BW libbers. The CNN poll after the debate asked the group if they would be more likely to vote for either candidate now after watching the debate.....24% said more likely Obama 25% said more likely Romney....50 percent said neither candidate.....so you see, even when your guy wins on debate points 48/40 CNNpoll ( due to clever comebacks, aggressivenesss, etc) we see, just as in debate number 2 that it doesnt translate into a bump for him, in fact just the opposite. A little too early for debate results in the big polls yet, but Rasmussen daily tracking as of this morning now shows Romney has jumped up two points from yesterday, with a 50/46 lead over Obama, the first time either man has had a 3 or 4 point lead in Rasmussen since the conventions....this dovetails with my prediciotn that you would be seeing the Romney lead start to break and run right about now.....

Hedge Fund Hal

"it's over, Hal"- T-S ........I know you feel that way T-S , as evidenced by your '"I give up" throwaway vote for Jill Stein, but Obama acould still win this thing. I don't believe he will, of course, but theoretically he still can, probably needing a big gaffe from Romney, or a "dead girl or a live boy" level scandal concerning the Governor.

Hedge Fund Hal

oh and they did the math.....we actually have MORE bayonets now than in 1916. Obama's condescending, insulting comments to Romney about submarines and aircraft carriers (is he actually trying to saddle Romney wihtthe "stupid card" after the way Romney has deftly outstrategized an dout-performed him on all three debates?) played well with your libber contingent here on BW and at the NYTimes and MSNBC, but it didn't sit well with the American public. Another tactical error by Obama. Three debates, three fails for Obama. no bump=fail. Winning the CCN POST-DEBATE poll, with an under 50% modest margin, (see debates 2 and 3) does not mean you actually won the debate in realpolitik terms..

Hedge Fund Hal

CNN poll...... not CCN

nameless

Can you say that a little louder, Candy?

Hedge Fund Hal

as i re-read Rasmusse i see that this morning's 4 point lead in Rasmusen Daily Tracking for Romney is a bigger deal than i thought. Here is what Rasmussen says.......Other than brief convention bounces, this is the first time either candidate has led by more than three points in months.......

Hedge Fund Hal

last night the votes, especially women voters, saw the real Barack Obama- a man who sneered and smirked at Obama actually both a the same time, in a weird , repellent kind of creepy hybrid expression that he maintained basically from "pole to pole" for the entire ninety minutes. Also he constantly gave Obama a look with his eyes that many are now calling "the death stare". Women saw this unfiltered, raw version of Obama, their Commander-in-Chief, - and were scared.

Kimmy

I loved the constipated look on Mr. Romney’s face every time Mr. Obama flamed him.

Hedge Fund Hal

disregard the previous post, to be replaced by this, corrected version-..... Last night, the voters, especially women voters, saw the real Barack Obama- a man who constantly sneered and smirked at Romney at the same time, with a kind of creepy hybrid expression that he maintained for the entire ninety minutes. Also Barack constantly gave Romney a fierce unbroken gaze that many are calling "the death stare". Women saw this repellent, not filtered or packaged version of Obama, the real Obama- and found him scary.

Observer

Actually, it wasn't necessary for you to advise us to disregard your post(s), it's a given. Bwahaha

Finis Hominis

Interesting story about the Rmoney campaign spinning the “momentum” narrative.
Don’t Believe the Hype

…the momentum is not on Romney’s side at the moment. They’re trying to punk reporters — thinking particularly of the Politico set here, and others who like to be punk’d — into creating a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Hedge Fund Hal

i guess CNN's John King is in on the conspracy, Finis- last night he said the momentum is on Romney's side and that if it just keeps up at its current pace for two more weeks- Romney will win. .......Don't forget, Donald Trump will announce his Obama bombshell tomorrow....big doings from The Trumpster.....how big?.....really really big.........

Oily Titz Ace Detective

How come he won't announce it now? Did the view turn him down?

Pinhole sunshine

The GOP could set up death camps
in southern states and they would still vote for him. He could call them a bunch of knuckle-dragging goobers and they would cheer. He could moon them from the window of his bus and they would still turn out for him, because this is driven by hatred of the other, an age-old theme among southerners in particular and republicans in general.

T-S

One of my friends is from Louisiana and she said she's embarrassed to admit it to anyone these days. She said it doesn't matter what your race, if you're still in Louisiana, you're dumb and Republican. And she's black.

Hedge Fund Hal

Leykis is saying the guy on Squack Box on CNBC already revealed what the big Trump bombshell on Obama will be. I know what is but teeheehee, i can't tell . The Trumpster will reveal all tomorrow. Donald?

Hedge Fund Hal

Savage is back on kvi, listening to him now. 9p.m-12 now, all three hours. they lopped an hour off of Imus. That's fine, i cant take more than an hour of Imus these days.

T-S

Squack? Try Squawk Hal. It might make sense.

Observer

As is evident on this blog the character known as 'Hal (alias Tommy) is not noted for his astute spelling prowess. Bwahaha

Rmoney is out on the stump complaining about Obama, constantly pointing out the lies of Rmoney. I think he called it Romnesia [Rom-nee-zhuh] Noun—a condition affecting Mitt Romney, who has
shifted his positions from “severely conservative” to “severely liberal" depending upon the crowd.

Preston

Trump is claiming that Michele Obama wanted a divorce 10 years ago, but unlike the Donald, the Obamas worked it out, big deal.

Hedge Fund Hal

if you read between the lines of my posts concerning The Trumpster's announcement (big, it's goign to be really, really big, etc.), I pretty much telegraphed to you that it would be "much ado about nothing"..........Romney doesn't need Donald help at this point....Rasmussen Daily tracking this morning has Romney holding his 50/46 lead of yesterday, even with 33% of the 3 days results taken after the debate........expect that 50% mark to break to the upsode soon, and the lead approaching the double digit level by next week. Rasmussen is the most accurate poll of 2008.

Observer

Nice try, but you lost your cred a long time ago.

Preston

"I pretty much telegraphed to you that it would be "much ado about nothing".

No, no you said it was really big...

"Don't forget, Donald Trump will announce his Obama bombshell tomorrow....big doings from The Trumpster.....how big?.....really really big.........

Posted by: Hedge Fund Hal | October 23, 2012 at 12:23 PM

Stop eating the acid, ok?

Hedge Fund Hal

Preston are you familiar with the term "sarcasm"?........

Observer

I looked it up sar ca sm is what some folks use as an excuse for being dead wrong first time around to try to save face. Bwahaha

hal, you can't trust trump. he'll always lead you to some bad place where you'll feel like a dupe.

A little quiet on the Hedge Fund front, not surprising.
Wow, speaking of funds, the Dow Jones is sure taking a beating. Probably due to fear of Mittens-run economy. Bwahaha
