Obama completely dodged the question form the man about who was responsible for ignoring the security requests and what should happen to them.... the American people saw that and they care about that ...they don't give two craps about Romney's technical mistake abpout hte Rose garden wording......Obama was angry and sour.....
you won't get a bump in the polls from this debate.....that's the only meaningful definition of a win... ....have CNN send you a copy of their post-debate poll, throw away all the back pages where it says the voters thought Romney was stronger in the 4 or 5 different major areas of competence..... and you can blow up the front page and have it framed , so you'll have a big headline on your wall "Obama wins debate 45/39"...
Tommy only read the Cliff Notes on the debate and didnt watch it. If he had, he would have watched Candy Crowly fact check him on the spot. Willard looked like he wanted to put her in one of his Wimmins Binders.
Obama won over Romney in this debate the way Kerry won over Bush in that one debate in 2004..yeah you all remember President Kerry, the President right before Obama. from 2004 to 2008..an anemic win on cold, technica argumentation points, not on style or overall confidence in the man.....
Keep making excuses, HTD. Your time is coming to an end. I wonder what your next fiction will be?
Yep, even on Fox non-News there were reluctantly admitting some defeat.
BTW, MSNBC has this guy asking undecided voters what they think. One came down for Obama and one for Romney (he couldn't have been undecided). Four women were then asked about Romney's non answer for equal pay for equal work. None of them could answer. I got the feeling the moderator asking the question wanted to ask them if they even understood the question. It seemed like they didn't. I got the impression he was holding back some disgust. I know I was. I think undecideds are really low IQ people who somehow get registered to vote. I don't know how exactly but they do.
T-S , the takeawy tonight , as confirmed by that right winger networ CNN in hteir post debate poll, is that Obama came across as weak....... Interrupting Candy Crowley repeatedly, whining about his time when the clock showed he talked a full 4 or 5 minutes longer than Romney over the entire debate, letting Romney get to him with the Vegas jibe, and exploding in rage....... That's why the poll takers rated Romney as the stronger leader. You're in big trouble if the voters see you as weak .
The Stench showed his disdain tonight for what he calls the 47%, it's no wonder since his dad and their family were on the dole for several years after practicing polygamy in Mexico.
Not a game changer - Obama was less likable and the biggest liar (: Mitt was debating both Barry and Candy. She covered for Barry about LIbya and found out that she wrongly did so and stated that Romney was correct that the Benghazi attack was not called a terrorist attack for nearly two weeks afterward.
Candy Crowley was a travesty & worse than Martha Radatz. She lost control due much to her partiality and should not be allowed to moderate a presidential debate again.
T-S, you got nothing from Biden's efforts and you'll get nothing from Obama's "halting", angry performance tonight.....at this point it's Mitt's to lose''''it wil take a scandal or a mAjor gaffe to reverse Mitt's momentum....Romney's polling/campaign team is now calling Ohio for Mitt...Gallup for the first time ever said Romney has reached the benchmark 50% in their national tracking poll, with a four point lead over Obama......

I see, the candidate in your bizzaro world debates the moderator?
Biden culdn't rattle Ryan even with 90 full minutes of direspect, mockery, rudeness and disdain but Romney sure got to Obama with his comment about the inappropriate campaign trip to Vegas the day of or the day after the 9/11 assassination of Ambassador Stevens. People usually only get that angry when their opponent has gotten to the truth of the matter with their comments.
"rellly low I-Q people"....yes T-S , i can see where you're going wih this...preparing your spin for november 7..........when Mitt finally wins with a comfortable margin next month , you will say it was because not all the voters were as wise or as smart as your group.............bwhahahaahahahaha
oh the blooper i predicted Obama would make tonight ?........it's obvious.....the moment where he lost his temper and exploded in rage after Romney's polite taking issue with the appropriateness of Obama going straight to Vegas for campaign rallies (it was not appropriate) so soon after the Stevens assassination..... he lost control.....looked weak and defensive....big mistake.....he could have firmly but politely defended his decision to travel to Vegas without blowing up...... now the only big thing people will remember from tonight, besides his "halting" speech, is Obama the "really angry guy"......
By the way, libber crew here, before you prepare your mornings atttacks on me here, calling me rightwing crackpot, I suggest you read the Jeff Greenfield column today at Yahoonews headlined "The President won the second debate. Too bad it's not the one that mattered." he pretty much echoes my take on the effectiveness of the debate for Barry , although he gives Obama too high a grade. Oh , T-S- in case you've been under a rock for the last thirty years, where Greenfield won five emmys for his stints as a political reporter on CNN CBS and ABC, you may know him as the current host of "Need To Know" on PBS.
going to the videotape shows the following was said in the White House rose garden speech- Obama made a generic "perfunctory"(as Laura Ingraham said this morning) reference to 'acts of terror", but then went on to denounce the anti-Muhammed video and follow that up with saying that the video didn't justify "acts of violence". So the speech is basically a muddle, open to different interpretation but i think the most reasonable interpretatin is that he was still calling the benghazi murders "acts of violence" egged on by the video. By the way Laura is saying that word getting back to her from the debate is that Michelle is the person who started the ripple applause following Candy's stepping in inappropriately and stating the Obama said act or acts of terror. According to the sources Michelle was responsible for starting the other two or three ripples of applause last night. The rules were clear- there was to be no applause or exclamation of any sort.
Ingraham just said she now has confirmation htat Michelle started the several ripples of clapping during the debate, in violation of debate rules clearly outlined by Crowley at the outset... ........ a Foxnews camera caught her doing it....im sure youll here about it on Hannittys radio show at 4 on ktth and im pretty sure youll see it with your own eyes Coiler if you watch Hannity's show on Foxnews at 6 p.m. tonight.

unbelievable....T-S is making fun of the guy with the best question of the debate because he sounded like he'd been watching Foxnews, according to her. She know she can't attack the substance of the question, so she engages in some pettyness regarding the wording of it, parroting her idol, Rhodes. T-S and Rhodes are cawing and cackling about the wording and i guess the questioner, who apparently is blue collar and declasse enough for them to make fun of ( he uses a "break room"), while most of America is talking about how Obama completely dodged the man's great question, bloviating for four minutes without answering it.
The Rmoney moment was indicative of Wingnut Daily meets reality. You guys spout the horse shit here but it don’t work in the real world. That’s why you’d never say, in person, what you post here. You’d suffer the same indignity of Mittens.
THe proscucuter Halmilton Burger Romeny thought he had his quarry, “You said in the Rose Garden the day after the attack, it was an act of terror?” Romney asked incredulously, as Obama nodded in the background. “I want to make sure we get that for the record, because it took the President 14 days before he called the attack in Benghazi an act of terror.”
“Get the transcript,” responded Obama, as he made the manic Mormon do the pick and shovel work.
At that point, moderator Judge Candy Crowley of CNN interceded, telling Halmilton Burger Romney, under her breath, “He did in fact, sir.” Romney then began to blubber, as Obama added, “Can you say that a little louder, Candy?”
Indeed, Obama had said in the Rose Garden, the next day referring to the consulate attack, “No acts of terror will ever shake the resolve of this great nation, alter that character or eclipse the light of the values that we stand for.”
Romney may have thought he was Perry Mason but he ended up looking more like Mason’s inept adversary, the haplessly wrong prosecutor Hamilton Burger. Halmilton Burger Romeny then sulked off as Perry Obama high fived everyone including Judge Crowley.
Next week, the Case of the Twisted Garment...
And the sulking and brooding of Romeny’s fans directing them to fantastical fanatical heights. Faux news, leading them to consider fractured memories and misled opinions about Obama. They whined and complained about the judgment of the masses instead of holding Romeny to count. Romeny sat on the platform, with a quizzical half moronic smile on his face, wondering… ‘Am I sitting on this bar stool correctly?’
Romney walked toward Obama at a point early in the debate but stopped outside his personal space , not invading it. Feeling challenged, Obama rose, puffed out his chest and strutted up to him, getting nearly in the man's face. But Romney didn't shrink an inch from him. Clearly Barry's intimidation attempt was a big fail, witnessed by an entire nation, in HD . Obama backed off and endured the rest of the debate a shaken man, his pose and swagger now rendered impotent . Romney has owned Barack in these first two debates and the best one is yet to come. The old air of insolence and insouciance that Obama had before encountering Mitt in these brutal (for him) one on one sessions is long gone now. Instead, last night you saw a sour , sullen and very angry Obama, as he expounded on his views with a tight, grim expression on his face."I can't believe I'm losing to this Mormon dweeb", was the obvious interpretation of his silent thoughts, as the camera caught him at various times, listening to Mitt.
We've got Gallup tracking at 51/45, and a disappearing gender gap. You guys have "women's binders". By all means kepp up the chortling , chuckling and horselaughng , at your 8th grade humor level. It's workong out so well for you. Barry never even reached 50% in Gallup tracking, anytime this year against Romney.
oh, and the "a little louder Candy " crapola? Have you actually read the Rose Garden speech transcript? He used the word terror exactly once, in a sctrictly generic, general context. When he talked specifically about Benghazi he used the words " violent attacks" after prefacing them with a condemnation of the "youtube video". The "Youtube video" false narrative was clearly in place there in the Rose Garden, the same one that Susan Rice would parrot days later when they trotted her around to all the Sunday new shows. The truth about what exactly was said in the Rose Garden is gradually making it's way out to the public, despite Candy's now backfiring and laughable rescue attempt of Obama, during the debate. Just in time for Monday's foreign policy debate. Last Chance Monday.
Notwithstanding a miraculous ass-kickin by Romney in the final debate and/or some other proverbial shoe dropping in favor of Mittens, it is my fair and unbiased expert opinion that President Obama will be leader of the free world for yet another four years. Please show up with your crow to eat on Nov 7th, Hal.
Bwahahaha
make that 52/45 Gallup as of today. No debate bump. Last Chance Monday.....Obama will have to deliver an absolute blowout against Romney , but Mitt is simply too confident and too skilled a debater for that to eve happen. Another draw isn't goign to cut it. As PBS host and vteran politicla reporter (ABC, CBS, CNN) Jeff Greenfield stated in his column on yahoonews, the second debate may have been a technical win on debating points for Obama , but it will not change the dynamics of the race, which is an inexorably increasing lead for Obama. In my opinion, this lead will not continue to grow at the same pace but will soon break and run up rapidly, probably after mondays debate. Your chance to put Romney away and win the election, as Greenfield stated, was in the first debate. Obama failed miserably.
inexorably increasing lead obviously for Romney.....not Obama.......i just read this gaffe and i have docked Esmerelda's pay for today by 50 dollars because of this mistake.....
the docking is strictly legal because the 50 dollars is part of he daily "incentive bonus" pay dependent on daily performance,it doesnt touch her base daily salary.
"give it up,H-T-D. It's over."-. .T-S.....T-S-....i would tend to agree with you that "it's over" , but , remember Ronald Reagan, and he's the only one, did come back from being behind to Carter by 6 or 7 points in the Gallup Poll by this time in October.. ....But, yeah, i tend to agree with you, T-S ...how realistic is that?..... Last Chance Monday, the final debate, is your only hope now.....
Rasmussen just confirmed it- latest poll with 33% of results from post second debate gives Romney a two point lead as opposed to the poll the day before with 100% of results taken before dbate and a one point lead for Obama.....looks like a debate win for Obama ....now it really come down to monday for you guys....Last Chance Monday
sorry above paragraph should read- Rasmussen day old poll (no post 2nd debate polling) 1 point lead for Romney ...Rasmussen poll today (33 percent post debate polling}- 2 point lead for Romney

Can you say that a little louder, Candy?

And we all know that "acts of terror" and "violent attacks" are TWO TOTALLY DIFFERENT THINGS!!!! Yah!!!!!!
You assume she was trying to "rescue" the President. I saw it as her attempt to help Romney from making a total ass out of himself.

parse, parse, parse, parse, parse... Give up, H-T-D. It's over.

Posted by: Hedge Fund Hal on Last Chance Monday | October 18, 2012 at 12:07 PM
the docking is strictly legal because the 50 dollars is part of he daily "incentive bonus" pay dependent on daily performance,it doesnt touch her base daily salary.

Mittens' wife said (on the View) today that should he lose [which he will] this will be the end of Romney's political aspirations. Buh Bye! Bwahahaha
