Seattle radio legend Pat O'Day came out of brain surgery this afternoon in good shape, and with good news: the tumor discovered earlier this week is out. And, ccording to his wife, Stephanie Johnson O'Day:
"The doctor (Dr. Gregory Foltz, director of the Center for Advanced Brain Tumor Treatment at the Swedish Neuroscience Institute) came up and had a big smile on his face, and said, 'We got it all. It'll never come back.' " Johnson O'Day says that Foltz explained the tumor had been growing slowly for 30 to 40 years, starting out the size of a pea and eventually ending up the size of an egg that then began causing the various symptoms exhibited by O'Day.
Fans have coalesced around the Facebook page of one of O'Day's sons, offering support and well wishes. We certainly add ours - and we look forward to more hydroplane commentaries and Schick-Shadel commercials soon!
Well, maybe not that last bit...
This really went viral on facebook. It was really a positive force of well wishes

Glad to hear this ! Our market driven health care system works but it may get uglier unless the tide is stemmed soon from enacting this pernicious health care scheme known as Obamacare as it currently exists.
I know you would agree with this.
Couldn't resist :)
