For only $10, 97.3 KIRO FM is coming to... Tacoma. Yes, for ten bucks plus tax, you can watch a Kiro host in what they describe as "an intimate" setting. Insert 10 dollars for the next ten minutes.
In what is being called KIRO Radio On Tour, KIRO FM will be visiting cities that evidently are unaware of their presence.
The event proceeds go to a good cause, the Fisher House which constructs comfort homes to provide free, temporary housing to the families of service members receiving medical care at Veterans Affairs and military hospitals around the world. Dori might even be frying up his Pink Slime burgers.
true radio out of the box is streaming radio, like the Tom Leykis New Normal Network, it features variety, listen online or with the tunein radio app on your iphone or android device, you can listen to what you want anytime with minimal commercials. between that and my favorite podcasts i listen to very little terrestrial radio at all anymore except for the odd traffic report

Podcasts are fine but somtimes I feel isolated from the"what's happening" immediate news. So I still like both.
