Today, Rush Limbaugh called Sandra Fluke a "slut."
(image: Rush defends his shortcomings)
Ms. Fluke is the woman who last week was denied the right to speak at a controversial contraception hearing before the House Oversight committee. Ms. Fluke, a student at Georgetown University, was supposed to testify in support of birth control at the hearing, but Chairperson Rep. Darryl Issa refused to allow her testimony, letting only men harrumph about President Obama's contraception policy. When she was finally allowed to speak at another hearing, that had very low attendance, she explained what most women know--The Pill is also used for medical conditions such as preventing the growth of cysts, treating menstrual cramps and to even out hormone levels.
Rush "babe-magnet" Limbaugh decided that since she knows so much about contraception, it could only mean one thing.
Ms. Fluke is obviously a SLUT.
"Can you imagine if you were her parents how proud...you would be?" he said. "Your daughter ... testifies she's having so much sex she can't afford her own birth control pills and she wants President Obama to provide them, or the Pope."
He continued:
"What does it say about the college co-ed Susan Fluke [sic] who goes before a congressional committee and essentially says that she must be paid to have sex -- what does that make her? It makes her a slut, right? It makes her a prostitute. She wants to be paid to have sex. She's having so much sex she can't afford the contraception. She wants you and me and the taxpayers to pay her to have sex."
Limbaugh then said, "ok, so she's not a slut. She's round-heeled."
"Round-heeled" is an old fashioned term for promiscuity.
You would think that the thrice-married radio host, who was busted at Palm Beach International Airport for possession of 29 Viagra pills with another man's name on the bottle, would be a little less judgemental about the sex lives of others.
UPDATE: Today Rush claimed that if all these sex-crazed women who are demanding birth control expect the "Government to pay for it," men were going to start demanding " a little something in return." He proposed that Ms. Fluke post a video on the Internet that shows her having sex.
Limbaugh has been married 4 times and he has no children. Unless he shoots blanks, we must assume--make that we fervently hope--that his wives all used birth control. Unless each of them paid for that birth control out of their own pockets, as Rush insists Fluke should do, did he just call his wives sluts?
H-Y-P-O-C-R-I-S-Y forward, backward and inside out spells all the talkers on the smart-idiot right"
The party has gone crazy because they listen for hours and hours to the Limbaughs and the Hannitys on the Koch payroll rather than read thirty minutes a day of anything about American reality. It's disgusting.
For the rest of us who show some curiosity for honest journalism, here's a great column from alternet: The toxic corporations that run America
These corporations and their CEOs are the people who pay Rush to slander and verbally abuse women because they know there are a lot of old angry white guys and a few self-hating fundamentalist women out there who eat it up. And they don't do anything but listen to Rush talk like a low-level uneducated misogynist. Women have taken too much power that they're not supposed to have.

If I had Rush's money, I'd retire. If I had one percent of his cash, I'd go out and enjoy life. Actually, first I'd spend every dime I could on figuring out why my body's auto-immune system is attacking my kidneys. Then I'd drive all over North America. I'd ride trains. Fly. Treat my friends to vacations.
I certainly wouldn't waste my time hanging out with worthless politicians. But then perhaps I am not some kind of attention whore who has been sucked into an entire world that must revolve around me and only me.
Okay, so I'm self righteous. No better than "the Fat One". Yawn.

“29 Viagra pills with another man's name on the bottle”
I wonder what ol’ Rushbo had to do to get that man to give up those pills?

Is he back on the hillbilly heroin? If it weren't clear before, the dude is sick. The spiritual leader of the Republican Party. (Awesome.)

Oh please.......... How many times has Bill Maher called Sarah Palin a slut?
Posted by: Mr. Whatever | March 02, 2012 at 11:29 AM
Because Sarah loves it, big difference. Besides, Bill doesn't have a radio show with folks trapped in convalescent care or at the auto parts store.

MW that's your reply? You're a bias uneducated foolish idiot & you "love it".
Posted by: Mr. Whatever | March 02, 2012 at 01:12 PM
Palin is a public figure and media whore. Sandra Fluke is a private citizen who was testifying to Congress about public policy.
Only a brainwashed right-winger could miss the distinction. But then again, Limbaugh is your spiritual leader and that about says it all.

Several on the Right are not backing up Rush this time and have come out to say his words are dispicable. He has lost 3 major advertisers today as well.

I repeat. This time to WM or whoever. Brainwashed?! Look who's talking Mr. Left-winger WM/MW, grow-up. You're response, in my opinion & others I'm sure, is quite immature. Come on, what's name calling going to accomplish? I, myself is guilty also. Why, should you, me or anyone else pay for someone to receive free contraception? You play, you pay. OK, I'll compromise. Co-pay for males & females. Birth control pills for women, condoms for men. To go further; abortions, of course for females, and to be simple, so-called tubes tied for males. If one side gets it for free or co-payed, so does the other. If my or your insurance or taxes pays for it, make it both ways. Total birth control. What do you think?
Posted by: Mr. Whatever | March 02, 2012 at 08:02 PM
Umm, we're already paying for your viagra - right?

I'm gonna hate myself for saying this, but I really hope he "Breitbarts" right in the middle of his show next week.
As Mark Levin would retort..."THAT'S RIGHT, I SAID IT!"

Rush has been involved in politics most of his life; he should be very comfortable with the concept of prostitution.
