right-wing blogs we like

  • The Reagan Wing
Hearin lies the real heart of Washington State Republicans. Doug Parris runs this red-meat social conservative group site which bars no holds when it comes to saying who they are and who they're not; what they believe and what they don't; who their friends are and where the rest of the Republicans can go. Well-written, and flaming.

Ron

This won't last long and will end badly. Don has a long history of issues with women.

Wonder what happened with the Adam Smith gig? Seems like a big step down.

fluffy nuggets

Bet she missed Seattle. DC is a little hard to take if you're from around here...

Peaklimiter

Step down? The Ron & Don show is the most listened to radio talk show in Seattle! Digging up sexy audio off YouTube and the dirt on sports scandals is way more important and glamorous than working for some politician. Unfortunately, the pay for both jobs is less than that of a good cocktail waitress.

Puget Sound Blathers

Good for Ms. Denkmann.

In regards to Ms Noles, when is Blather going to do an update on her or the other producers discussed in the thread 'the producers' a long time ago. Kind of a 'whatever happened to'

It would be kind of interesting to see how many are still in radio and how many bounced out. It has to be a tough gig.

"Don reportedly forced out Jason Stein, who produced the asinine pairing to the top of the KIRO heap)."

How and why did this happen?

tomorrow the share wheel organiztion is going to begin a sleep out under the direction of the staff consultant
if the residents choose to not participate they have to leave...if there are not enough people that volunteer, a lottery will take place, if your name is selected and you refuse, you are given a permanent bar.(eviction)
the purpose according to the consultant is to raise funds.

this is a man who has stated that the Veterans for peace ended their relationship with Nicklesville, because nicklesville would not allow them to see their finances.

there are tent city residents that have atteneded "grant writing" meetings at share and say that they have applied for grants and been denied because share would not allow them to look at their finances.

How is this fair to these homeless residents.

To stay at these shelters, you are required to do a Community Credit:
participate in a Share admin meeting or sanctioned event, or attend a church from a list authorized by share...if you do not you are barred (evicted) for 7 - 14 days. It was recently learned that this week Share cancelled all meetings....this will leave tent city 4 in the position to have to bar up to 30 people. THere are not enough churches on the list for all the residents.

An action for which you can receive a permanent Bar(eviction)
is to talk about camp business out of camp..there for the reason this is sent anonymous.

Please help: raise public awareness, call the city council, the mayors office, state senators.
THis is only a small sample of how this man treats these people, if you feel what I have described is unjust.. PLEASE HELP

you may email me at this address, if you would like to meet..howeve I have to protect my anonymity...I would be barred and have no where else to go

THank you for reading

The first sleep out is to be organized at the Share office tomorrow evening at 7pm

Seattle's foremost public radio news and talk.

Visit the burnt-out husk of one of the seminal right-wing talkers in all the land. Here's where once trilled the reactionary tones of Rush Limbaugh, John Carlson, Kirby Wilbur, Mike Siegel, Peter Weissbach, Floyd Brown, Dinky Donkey, and Bryan Suits. Now it's Top 40 hits from the '60's & '70's aimed at that diminishing crowd who still remembers them and can still hear.
    • KTTH am 770 KHz
Right wing home of local, and a whole bunch of syndicated righties such as Glennn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, Michael Medved, Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham, Lars Larsony, and for an hour a day: live & local David Boze.
    • KPTK am 1090 KHz
Syndicated liberal talk. Stephanie Miller, Thom Hartmann, Ed Schultz, Randi Rhodes, Norman Goldman fill in the large hole to the left on Northwest radio dial.
    • KLFE AM 1590 kHz
Syndicated right-wing 2nd stringers like Mark Levin, Bill Bennett, Mike Gallagher, Dennis Prager, Dennis Miller and Hugh Hewitt inhabit this timid-voiced neighbor honker for your radio enjoyment (unless you're behind something large like Costco).
