John Carlson, Ken Schram from when Fisher actually promoted their radio talent.

When there actually was political Seattle talk radio. What was that? 2 yr ago? Those days are gone, replaced by the fluff of Luke and John Curley. Guess I'm getting old, but I loved getting local conservative talk in this blue town.

I long for the days of KVI when Carlson would focus on politics both on a local as well as National level. Drive time was very informative then. We'll probably not experience that again as radio has changed in a very sad way.

Carlson and Schramm were at their best when together as "The Commentators".
It only got better when Bryan Suits would fill in for John.
Great radio days!

Carlson and Schram were a non-starter for me - topics didn't resonate that much. However, when Suits filled in for Carlson - it was good radio, with the wit and the tongue in cheek from Suits followed by the sarcasm of Schram was able to bring it on.

I'd hesitate to use "John Carlson" and "talent" in the same sentence, but your point is well-taken nonetheless.
