We won't be hearing for a few days about the results, but Fisher Communications shareholders of voted Wednesday, apparently with no violent incidents. No 911 calls to Fisher Plaza. No bullet wounds. No one jumped from any windows, according to the police blotter after the bitter proxy contest between directors backing CEO Colleen Brown and the challenging slate.
Company officials say it could take several days for results to be announced.
You will just have to wait for the results to come in.
Then it will be time for 911 calls, shots fired (as well as media types), and as for jumping from the windows, well, the suits all have golden parachutes....
Maybe someone will demand a recount. It is the latest American election fad.

You know, as dreadful as Fisher leadership has been, at least they're headquartered in Seattle. No other for-profit radio or TV company in Seattle can make that claim any more except for some really tiny radio stations like the Z twins. I believe both KING-FM and KCIS/KCMS (Crista Ministries) are owned by nonprofits at this point. Everyone else is out of town: Clear Channel, CBS, Bonneville, Entercomm, Sandusky, Salem, Belo, Fox, Tribune Co., etc.

Very few of reporters have the guts and integrity to tell you what viewpoint (liberal progressive or conservative- in rare cases) they have
