  • The Reagan Wing
Hearin lies the real heart of Washington State Republicans. Doug Parris runs this red-meat social conservative group site which bars no holds when it comes to saying who they are and who they're not; what they believe and what they don't; who their friends are and where the rest of the Republicans can go. Well-written, and flaming.

Which illustrates the point I made earlier about what motivates a station to get rid of an on-air personality who says crap like that--if it might bite the moneychangers in the butt, out they go. Otherwise...meh.

It is very difficult when the choice breaks down to a program or station that attracts customers that respond to your ads and a more PC program/station but the people that listen don't respond.
Advertising is always a pain in the butt.

Conscious sedation would explain right wing radio.

More likely subconscious sedation as they don't seem to realize it. It's definitely on the wane.

Difficult choices? Yep. Money before values, honesty or ethics. That's not really a difficult choice for the left. We're not the ones attending cock fights. What is it about people on the the right anyway?

Let's see . . . Breitbart; O'Keefe; Scott Roeder; Timothy McVeigh; Terry Jones; Jim Jones; Tom Delay; Robert Reed; Jim Abramoff . . . the list goes on and one and those aren't even sex scandals.

Have you guys no pride whatsoever?

Now you'll come back with a couple of Dems who put money in their freezers or had an affair with a so-called photojournalist. But I think we know the evil when we see it.

BTW, speaking of evil, that fine upstanding family chux so admires, the Koch family? Turns out daddy was one of the founding fathers of the John Birch Society. He was thrown out by the father of conservatives, William Buckley.

I know. Small scar on the face of such a wonderful family.

saint rudy

Joanie; If your sucess was measured by the hatred of these Faux Clones on this blog for you, then you have won The World Series, The Super Bowl, Wimbelton and The masters all rolled into one.

Thanks, Saint Rudy. My list was flawed however. Should have been Ralph Reed. Robert Reed was a very sweet actor on the Brady Bunch.

Just catching up on Rachel, CEO pay went up 27% while average worker pay went up 2.1%. Unbelievable isn't it?

BREAKING: Larry Gifford of ESPN Radio has been named PD of Bonneville-Seattle. He will start May 2nd.

Getting Rich or Dying Trying....in Miami

I think you are leaning toward the dying part, Tommy..you sound funny.
Or bored, maybe.

Listening to the fat one everyday. I'd rather guzzle syrup of ipecac.

I hope you're up to date on your vaccinations.

Seattle's foremost public radio news and talk.
    • KVI am 570 KHz
Visit the burnt-out husk of one of the seminal right-wing talkers in all the land. Here's where once trilled the reactionary tones of Rush Limbaugh, John Carlson, Kirby Wilbur, Mike Siegel, Peter Weissbach, Floyd Brown, Dinky Donkey, and Bryan Suits. Now it's Top 40 hits from the '60's & '70's aimed at that diminishing crowd who still remembers them and can still hear.
    • KTTH am 770 KHz
Right wing home of local, and a whole bunch of syndicated righties such as Glennn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, Michael Medved, Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham, Lars Larsony, and for an hour a day: live & local David Boze.
    • KPTK am 1090 KHz
Syndicated liberal talk. Stephanie Miller, Thom Hartmann, Ed Schultz, Randi Rhodes, Norman Goldman fill in the large hole to the left on Northwest radio dial.
    • KLFE AM 1590 kHz
Syndicated right-wing 2nd stringers like Mark Levin, Bill Bennett, Mike Gallagher, Dennis Prager, Dennis Miller and Hugh Hewitt inhabit this timid-voiced neighbor honker for your radio enjoyment (unless you're behind something large like Costco).

News, traffic, Ken Schram and John Carlson.
    • Washington State Radio Stations
Comprehensive list of every danged AM & FM station on the dial.
    • KKOL am 1300 KHz
Once a rabid right-wing talker, except for Lou Dobbs, it's all business....
