621kisw-1 Buried deep in this week's big radio story of KIRO's evening changes is local radio relic Mike West seen in the picture above. Being a bit of an antique ourselves, we thought it appropriate to include in our Saturday radio reliquary.

re Mike's Twitter: seems he's NOW revealing his ACTUAL REAL NAME as 'Vinnie (Vince) Lerner' (see his Feb 11th tweet). Many fans/friends that actually KNEW him thru his radio career already knew this; Vinnie's dad built the 'Lerner' clothing store once being in Seattle.

It's common in the industry to 'stamp' oneself with using an on-air alias for whatever reason(s). Ichabod Caine 'did' legally change HIS name to 'I.C.' back in 2000 after being born as 'Randy Hansen'
