right-wing blogs we like
The Reagan Wing Hearin lies the real heart of Washington State Republicans. Doug Parris runs this red-meat social conservative group site which bars no holds when it comes to saying who they are and who they're not; what they believe and what they don't; who their friends are and where the rest of the Republicans can go. Well-written, and flaming.
Orbusmax inexhaustible Drudgery of NW conservative news
The Radio Equalizer prolific former Seattle KVI, KIRO talk host speaks authoritatively about radio.
Of course the price of cornflakes go up when a barrel of crude goes up. SO DOES THE PRICE OF EVERYTHING! It doesn't take a degree in economics to figure that out. When transportation costs rise, most everything else does as well since it has to be, uh, transported.
Oh, Glenn, how exactly is a swine flu outbreak in Mexico part of the 'plot' to take away my civil liberties?
Geeez, this guy is funny when you see all of his rants edited together. Better than SNL!
Anyone catch Joanie's perfect storm link in the other thread earlier today? About the wealthy getting richer while the poor are getting poorer over the last 30 years. Thinking back i believe she tried making that case not long ago but with lack of facts to back up her claim, no one was listening either.
Screw the unions. I am sick and tired of the way the buy politicians with billions in campaign contributions and threaten the tax paying public with strikes and other actions if they don't get their payback from the politicians.
The teachers unions are the worst. They strike with virtually no risk to themselves and the partisan school boards always seem to cave in to the demands of the mob. All an act. Reality is the only people to get hurt are the parents and the tax paying public. If the teachers pay is $45,000.00 per year, they are going to get their $45k whether school starts Sept 10 or October 10.
The whole program is corrupt.
You either have to take Gov. Walkers course of action or make it law that public sector unions can not make campaign contributions to either party and union dues are paid by personal payment and not payroll deduction.
KIROFM 97.3 Multi-format: news and nearly all local talk. This is where classic KIRO AM news talk radio went... hopefully, not to die. The home of Dave Ross & Luke Burbank, Dori Monson, Ron & Don, Frank Shiers, Bill Radke, Linda Thomas, Tony Miner and George Noory.
KUOW FM 94.9 Seattle's foremost public radio news and talk.
KVI am 570 KHz Visit the burnt-out husk of one of the seminal right-wing talkers in all the land. Here's where once trilled the reactionary tones of Rush Limbaugh, John Carlson, Kirby Wilbur, Mike Siegel, Peter Weissbach, Floyd Brown, Dinky Donkey, and Bryan Suits.
Now it's Top 40 hits from the '60's & '70's aimed at that diminishing crowd who still remembers them and can still hear.
KTTH am 770 KHz Right wing home of local, and a whole bunch of syndicated righties such as Glennn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, Michael Medved, Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham, Lars Larsony, and for an hour a day: live & local David Boze.
KPTK am 1090 KHz Syndicated liberal talk. Stephanie Miller, Thom Hartmann, Ed Schultz, Randi Rhodes, Norman Goldman fill in the large hole to the left on Northwest radio dial.
KLFE AM 1590 kHz Syndicated right-wing 2nd stringers like Mark Levin, Bill Bennett, Mike Gallagher, Dennis Prager, Dennis Miller and Hugh Hewitt inhabit this timid-voiced neighbor honker for your radio enjoyment (unless you're behind something large like Costco).
KOMOAM News, traffic, Ken Schram and John Carlson.
C'mon. Beck has his perfect storms. So do us Progressives. We just call it Global Warming.

Glenn Beck. A perfect storm of insanity. And people watch him?
Kind of repetitive, isn't he? You know what they say about people who repeat themselves a lot...

This is what republicans are all about: people have also started noticing a provision that would allow the state to sell off its energy assets -- including power plants -- in no-bid deals to private interests
The dirty bastards.
