Poor Dave Boze (KTTH m-f, 3-4p). He's arguably the last man standing; the last old-school, right-wing, live & local talker in Seattle. (Dori and Frank Shiers are right-wing enough but they have sidekicks and do too much sports, YouTube audio, and lifestyle trivialities. John Carlson (KOMO m-f 9a-12p) is a newsman).
Adding to the pathos of having a weekdaily show that's only one hour long, is that it's really only 35 minutes long, if you take away all the commercials (which you can't... unless you dial up a podcast).
The ridiculous brevity of the David Boze Show is underscored this week as he's taken all 35 minutes of it across the continent to the CPAC Conference in Washington DC.
Really. Would Bonneville spring for airfare and lodging in DC for the star of their little one hour segue into Sean Hannity? We kinda doubt it... must be why Dave's riding the DC Metro...
We hope Dave's wife's working... otherwise he probably couldn't afford to be the last old-school, right-wing, live & local talker in Seattle.
(Today, Dave used up 26 of his precious live-from-DC 35 minutes bitching about how rude Ron Paul's supporters are (they booed Dick Cheney!) ... he suspects that the noisy Ron Paul geeks are really anti-war liberals who have infiltrated).
Boze said that when Trump started speaking he made an initial point about how it was im[portant for Repugs to pick CAndidate who could win. One of the Ron Paul morons shouted out "Ron Paul!: Trump replied that Paul could not win, and Paul's litte fascist babies and morons started yelliing and squalling. Trump, however van win . He is goign to run, and he has a good chance of sending the silly narcissist back to Chicagoland.

Run, Don, run!

A caller to Boze today mentioned how Ron Paul and his adoring minions are quite the little anti-semites. This has long been a side of Michael Medved. Normally i enjoy it when anything bothers and annoys Medved, but in this case i make an exception.

should have read "long been a thorn in the side of Michael Medved"

The Donald's charm escapes anyone who doesn't live in the tri-state area. And that hair...
He's a crass idiot who's not socially conservative enough to be nominated and too arrogant to be supported in any numbers by anyone but NY cab drivers.
Yes, run Don, run. And drop a few more million on yet another massage of your massive ego!

Isn't Dave Ross on anyore with what's-his-name? They're live and local. Or are they gone?
I guess I like live and local but not right-wing live and local. Why would anybody on the left or in the middle listen to right-wing radio if they have a choice?
National radio does fine for me. And the ads are becoming unlistenable for either local or national anyway. I've turned the radio off so many times this last week.
Goldman sure has good content. But he's unlistenable, too. I wish he'd learn to talk. Somebody should take him aside and teach him to talk.

Trump isn't even in the same league with Obama in the arrogance race. Cross? so what. W. Bush was ceabby abd cross all the time. no biggie.
Posted by: Tommy008 | February 11, 2011 at 08:41 AM
Now there's a short memory! W's whole shtick in 2000, the one that got him elected (well, that and a few Supreme Court justices), was that he was "the guy you'd wanna have a beer with." Gore was the guy nobody supposedly wanted to be around. It was Gore's race to lose, and he did, almost wholly on that count.
(Yeah, I know he won the popular vote. But given how far ahead he was months out, it should never have been close enough for hanging chads to matter in the first place.)

come on..the guy was unpleasant crabby and cross a good deal of the time during his eight years. youre the one in denial.

and
Bush sounded like a petulant little bitch when he was in that mode. i dont htin trump sounds that way even when hes cross.

we have already JUST had two people (W. Bush, and Obama) of much poorer temperament and much lower quality and character than Trump, as PRESIDENT. THE CHARACTER/TEMPERAMENT CARD WON'T FLY WITH tRUMP

"come on..the guy was unpleasant crabby and cross a good deal of the time during his eight years. youre the one in denial."
That was Bush 43 not Bush "the candidate". We found out he was an stupid asshole later.
Donald the bankrupt Atlantic City Casino owner rehabilitating himself with the Social and conservatives might be "Fun to watch" though!

Yea, Ican see Trump being worried about the unemployed or the working poor in this country. he would be far more interested in buying up foreclosures and selling or renting them back to the victims of Bush,s financial deregulation, at a small profit,of course.

John Carlson (KOMO m-f 9a-12p) is a newsman).
Nope. John Carlson is a right-wing serial liar who must give Fisher a truly incredible blow job and who, in the back of his dim little brain, still sees himself as a candidate for higher office. I'm still waiting for the Carlson-Vance Presidential campaign on the Know-nothing Party ticket.

nothing but smallball and mediocrity up the tuckus, Ted. Carlson-Vance would be better than McDermott-Goldstein of the moonbat party, although both are pathetic....
