Hmmmmmm ...

Should I bring my gun(s)?

Lawrence Fishkiller

Dave Ross will be there. I'll be there, Mike.

blathering michael

Don't be a douche, Steve.

Jason Andersen

I will be there.

And a *real* tactical person would never real to the hoddlums, gang bangers, and right-wing crazies if they are armed, and if so, where they are packin' lol :-)

Jason Andersen

cannot think or spell this morning....that should read: "reveal to the real hoodlums...;" I must need a beer!

I had thought they got rid of Hersholt in order to cut costs, but Radke can't be working for free. Did they ultimately get rid of Hersholt because he sounds like an older guy on a younger FM? Thoughts?

I'll be sure to be there and looking for Hood.

this will be another non-political event, like Beck's - right ?

Maybe not, but at least they will be intentionally funny.

Happy Birthday Fremont :)

On Twitter just now: ABC News taps @andrewbreitbart for election night coverage. Behold your liberal media.

I’ll be there.

You'll have to run to catch a flight to DC to be there tomorrow at noon - somehow I have doubts about anyone who wrote today that they would actually be there.

Forward a photo of yourself if you or Jason A. actually are there, so the rest of us can believe you.

Read the title Frank, it is a Seattle event as well.

Wow, KS...living up to the myth.

I’ll be taking the first flight to Seattle.

Coiler, you’re not the only one that has thought of KS that way.

It was the Ivar's photo that threw me - I was referring to the "million moderates" march in Washington DC, not the thousand or so leftwingers marching in Seattle. No offense, but the event in Seattle is not the same, its more of a convenient imitation - Colbert and Stewart won't be here - they are the inspirational leaders - yes ? Is there going to be an Instavision link to the actual gathering in DC ? That would be cool...

If this is an apolitical gathering, it could be a worthwhile event, but that's a big if - I'll believe it when I see it. However, I know that it will keep fear alive, for that is the main product produced by our Government.

John Liebowitz called Obama "dude" on national tv as he interviewed him on Liebowitz' The Daily Show the other night. I'm no fan of Obama but it's not about the man, it's about the office. This is a new level of insolence from the egotistical, pompous and not funny Liebowitz. I've always disliked this "I'm kind of a big deal'" little putz Stewart/Liebowitz. Now my disdain for him has gone up exponenetially since he's proven that he has become so full of himself that he thinks he can call The President "dude". Obama should have bitch -slapped the smirking puke. However I did enjoy Stewart/Liebowitz asking Obama uncomfortable questions and making him go into prickly professor mode. They're saying on the talk shows that Liebowitz was laughing AT him not with him. Not good for Obama.

Funny, you didn't seem to have an issue when it was Keith Olberman and Chris Matthews running the Republican Convention coverage.
But not to worry sparkles, Breitbart will be 'balanced' out with a suitable 'progressive' no doubt.

of course, you'll be able to hit msnbc for coverage. I can't wait to hear what Olby, Matthews, Maddow, and Big Ed have to say.

Oh wait, here is a guesstimate of the top 4:
Fraud or voter intimidation, Anger fueled vote, Racist Teaparty, and the Administration didn't go far enough to the Left.

I'll be there, come on over and introduce yourself, :) I still look like the picture in the other post

Saw some footage on KING-5 and it looks like there is something positive to it and there is a live feed from DC at Westlake Mall. Good grief, there may even be some open mindedness, beside the Democrats - good, Republicans - bad mantra that permeates Seattle. I'll also be interested in Breitbart's coverage.

This gathering reminds me of a large scale episode Seinfeld, whose claim to fame was being a show about nothing.

Goodbye Murray

Wow, there was approximately one million people at Westlake today…

Puget Sound--for Usual Suspects

i see you practice the Louis Farakhan 'Million Man March' mathematics.

first there was Farakhan then Beck now I. I'm off to stardom, Putz...

Puget Sound-

ha ha
i look forward to your Farakahn-esque teachings on outer-pace.

"The topper though are Farakahn's assertions about a “space wheel” (the size of two aircraft carriers) from which attacks on America’s whites, and blacks who do not embrace the Nation of Islam, will emanate.

On Sunday, he reported on the vision he had after having been on that “space wheel” to meet with the late Elijah Muhammed. That meeting imbued him with divine knowledge—-including prophesying the recent earthquake in Chile, (“It’s not an accident that a great earthquake took place in Chile…it was a precipitate of what I have to tell you today of what’s coming to America. You will not escape”). The wheel, he noted, had technology “1 million years ahead” of America’s. He also asserted that the spaceship contains 1,500 airplanes, each equipped with three bombs and the “angels on that human-built planet can build a wall out of air ... wall America in and start a fire.”

Interesting article comparing Pres Obama to Pres Nixon. Hmmmm....

"Our divisive president, Redux

By Patrick H. Caddell and Douglas E. Schoen
Saturday, October 30, 2010; 12:00 AM

President Obama's post-partisan America has disappeared, replaced by the politics of polarization, resentment and division.

In a Univision interview on Monday, the president, who campaigned in 2008 by referring not to a "Red America" or a "Blue America" but a United States of America, urged Hispanic listeners to vote in this spirit: "We're gonna punish our enemies and we're gonna reward our friends who stand with us on issues that are important to us."

Recently, Obama suggested that if Republicans gain control of the House and/or Senate as forecast, he expects not reconciliation and unity but "hand-to-hand combat" on Capitol Hill.

What a change two years can bring.

We can think of only one other recent president who would display such indifference to the majesty of his office: Richard Nixon.

We write in sadness as traditional liberal Democrats who believe in inclusion. Like many Americans, we had hoped that Obama would maintain the spirit in which he campaigned. Instead, since taking office, he has pitted group against group for short-term political gain that is exacerbating the divisions in our country and weakening our national identity. The culture of attack politics and demonization risks compromising our ability to address our most important issues - and the stature of our nation's highest office.

Indeed, Obama is conducting himself in a way alarmingly reminiscent of Nixon's role in the disastrous 1970 midterm campaign. No president has been so persistently personal in his attacks as Obama throughout the fall. He has regularly attacked his predecessor, the House minority leader and - directly from the stump - candidates running for offices below his own. He has criticized the American people suggesting that they are "reacting just to fear" and faulted his own base for "sitting on their hands complaining."

As the bearer of bad news, I have been chosen to tell you, Putz no one reads your quotes except KS. On the bright side, your missives are kewl.

Pat Caddell is another phony Democrat on TV like Juan Williams. Doug Schoen has been a paid Republican since the Vietnam era. Both make their money sucking on the Fox News teat while posing as liberals who have seen the light. Obama as Nixon is a credible comparison only to those who want to believe it.

Puget Sound

BR, what did you take away from the Congressman Baird article I linked?

yeah,'Parker' that whole punish the enemies and reward our friends sounds so unlike pres obama's main man, fellow chicago machine pol rahm emanuel. LMAO.
thanks BR, glad you have made contact with the usual suspects. last seen slinking away in a desperate attempt to avoid this upcoming Nov 2 election.

but i do want to give a word of thanks to speaker nancy pelosi.
and, i can safely include chucks and ks on this word of thanks to speaker pelosi:
she got millions of americans to vote republican.

it only cost our grandchildren an additional $3 trillion, some lousy legislation (you have to pass it to see what is in it) that will be undone or defunded, and breathtaking ethical lapses but she managed to take an overwhelming majority and turn it into a minority within 2 election cycles.
well done, madame speaker. well done.
you had the republicans on the run and unlikely to make a return to power for a generation. somehow you managed to take that victory and turn it around.

now the repub party you get this time will be more stalwart, committed to principles, and understanding that if they fail to deliver or stand firm that it will be out the door for 'em.

finally, ever notice that the same ones who claim not to read my posts quote em? LMAO

Puget Sound

Ron Radosh, a celebrated man of the left, wrote this amazing article about the premature demise of the majority Dem Party that was said to rule for the next generation...

See what you think, BR. (or any of the other usual suspects)

The Democratic party was once honorable - now it has been co-opted by radical leftists and marxists who have brought about the state that this country is in. The Republicans have largely been Democrats-lite, what the Democrats were back in the 60's and early 70's. They have capitulated to the Democrats, much to the chagrin of the economic and cultural demise of this country.

If BR chooses to be ignorant, he does it at his own peril. Too many people like him choose to bury their heads in the sand and be sucked in by the garbage that is called news from a thoroughly corrupted media, while things are going to hell all around us.
If things are allowed to progress unchecked toward a big government welfare state - because it seems kewl (in your own words), we will all regret it. Mark those words.

Puget Sound

ks, spot on.
i call em 'Denial-crats'
i watched some of the coverage of the DC event and had forgotten how much i missed the music of cat stevans.
if you forgotten, youtube cat stevans and they have a slew of his 1976 live show. just a talented man.

Didn’t read the Baird article Putz. And I agree, politicians are very political, i.e. Baird. Also when a reporter gives an opinion I see it as it is, an opinion. As far as the meeting of likeminded rational people, I met some tea baggers and I think I seen geeweewilly.

As far as your diatribe, I agree your side is energized. Congratulations, curb stomping your opponents scores you points.

I don’t read pajama media.

Ahhh, KS. This, everyone, is the type of lie you can expect from the right. I don’t know how this type of lie is categorized but maybe one of you can advise. Please examine this post KS attributes to me.

If things are allowed to progress unchecked toward a big government welfare state - because it seems kewl (in your own words)…
Posted by: KS | October 30, 2010 at 09:10 PM

KS, please tell me, when did I make that quote?

BR - Ah... A knee jerk reaction, typical of the left. Go back and re-read it - I didn't say that you said that - if you think so, you were reading it wrong. I merely insinuated that the tone of your earlier posts reflected this mindset and kewl was from an earlier post (you and Coils liked to use that word). While at it, do you disagree about that premise ? If so, how so ?

KS, in other words you’re admitting you lied. If not what are the ‘my own words’ you have insisted upon? Don’t make excuses like a lame ass, prove me wrong or own up. Did I say it or not? Just askin...

Puget Sound

ron radosh isn't a politician. did you read his article?

in regards to baird, he has nothing left to prove and had genuine comments for both the dems and repubs to heed from his vantage point: ie no political skin left in the game.

the repubs learned from their mistakes in 06 and 08 to make the run in 2010. if you think that the reason the dems are losing is that they didn't go sufficiently to the left i say good luck with that.

as to KS, it was clear what he was attributing as a quote to you and what he was writing as a summation of your viewpoint.

seems that you've run out of ammo, pard. not your fault, you have a losing hand right now. the rest of the usual suspects have fled the scene. back in 2008 you couldn't keep ph(J)oanie, Sparkles, Coils, Andrew, et al from posting politics on this board.

when dems are winning, this board is all about politics. when dems are losing, suddenly they only want to discuss talk radio.

telling. lets hope that they continue to want to discuss only talk radio for years to come. LMAO

Radosh is an old school neoconservative with his own political bent. If you subscribe to his opinions, ok. His are opinions. No I didn’t read his article, I don’t read PJ media. If you lend that organization creditability, good for you. And let KS defend KS. You don’t have to lie for KS.

As for the rest, you seem to make many assumptions. That may lead to many shit sandwich fueled rages you’re known for.

Puget Sound for BR

Even people you disagree with can offer sound advice. Smart people learn how to discern between the wheat and the chaff.

So BR, it's sad that you can't offer intelligent discourse on the points made by Radosh. His background is unique and his LEARNED opinion offers instruction on how not to repeat the mistakes of the past.
I guess you don't care about making the same mistake, again and again.
The Repubs must be rejoicing in their good luck to have someone on the other side such as you.
So go ahead, assign the reason for failure to 'not getting the message out' 'angry backlash/racism' or the old standby, 'dumb voter' memes. Avoid looking inward to learn the lesson of hubris.
People understand the message of 'Change' and it's not racist to understand that handing the bill to future generations is wrong absent a war time imperative.

In regards to those shit sandwiches, enjoy your special one this Nov 2. lmao

Puget Sound

I am not 'defending KS' just pointing out that his post was fairly clear. Of course, I don't have a reading comprehension issue.
But I can understand your concern that the ph(j)oanies of this world may have issues with comprehension or reality (is she still saying the Dems will retain the House and make gains in the Senate?)

If not what are the ‘my own words’ you have insisted upon? Don’t make excuses like a lame ass, prove me wrong or own up. Did I say it or not? Just askin...

Here's the content of the post; "If BR chooses to be ignorant, he does it at his own peril. Too many people like him choose to bury their heads in the sand and be sucked in by the garbage that is called news from a thoroughly corrupted media, while things are going to hell all around us. "

That is how I interpreted your previous post. If you don't choose to be ignorant, the premise of the argument involving you goes out the window. If I would have said "Too many people" and left out "like him", that would have made it more clear, and omitted the premise that you chose to be ignorant. I stand by the remainder of what I wrote.

Speaking of making assumptions, you make many of them yourself and I'll cite examples if you'd like. This medium is vulnerable to people making assumptions; we all do it.

“Even people you disagree with can offer sound advice.” True enough, but one would have to agree with the credibility of the other before advice is exchanged.

Yes and I have a problem with your credibility.
