Will the "new" KIROFM be talk teams of two? Dave & Luke, Dori & Jessica, Frank & Dori's dog, Star?

Maybe. We doubt PD/GM/BFD Ryan Hatch has made a final decision, but he sure's played the teams card lately. Many of the summer fill-ins were teams: Curley and Moe; Rivers and Putz, Leopold & Loeb, etc.
Hatch comes from sports radio, where, we're told, two-person teams are common. A source says Hatch is "high on the concept." ('high' in the Mormon sense is about priorities, not brain chemistry... as in "I'm high on strawberry as an ice cream flavor.")
We like us some Jessica Gottesman. (You can tell: We post only flattering pics of her.). Feminizing Dori's locker-jock rant hour has made him nearly listenable lately. If they were to develop a schtick where she actually seemed to counter him, it might work.
We could hear more of the smart chemistry between Dave and Luke. It could develop. There's been uncharacteristically kind words generated by BlatherWatch readers, and, we hear from Ross regulars. We don't know if Luke Burbank is up to side-kicking for anyone on a down on its luck terrestrial station. How could he do both his podcast (which is growing) and a m-f schedule? As a commenter wrote yesterday: "Why would Luke step off a rocketship aimed at the moon [and] onto a rusty ferryboat going to Bainbridge?" (Burbank is leaving town for a live TBTL next week at The Troubadour in LA).
Gottesman is already working at KIRO, so probably wouldn't cost Bonneville much: They could just pile on the sidekick gig onto her regular news job. She can handle it, she's a woman.
Star is a different matter. She's a female too, and available after those Purina One commercials dried up a few years ago. But she's engaged Dori's agent, Seattle-based superflack, Paul Andersen, so she won't settle for kibble (unlike Frank). Doubtless she'll insist on top billing over the hapless Shiers who reportedly tried in vain to get the job for his dog, Mutti.
Yea, it was informative. Makes you wonder why republicans can’t see the writing on the wall. By the way thanks for the Sirota pod cast tip. I use it to fill the after 12 hole.

What? No Schultz? I'm a fan. But, Sirota is my favorite.

Luke Burbank is like that pudgy, 42 year old guy at work who wears skinny jeans on Casual Friday, reposts Lady Gaga's latest tweets on his FB status updates and constantly talks about how he listens to bands no one has ever heard of because any band that has to charge for their music has sold out. You know, a creep.
