Well-written, and flaming.

What is the deal with the Jessica/Dori happy chats that have been muddying his show of late? Their banter so so so grating. Is Kiro management trying to make all of its shows tag teams? Dave & Luke and Dori & Jessica to go with Ron and Don?

Andrew

Any amount of displacement is better than none at all.

Plain Jane

I detect an on-air affair between these two. Listen carefully at the flirtatious inuendos.

David Tatelman

Naw, she wouldn't want a little weasel like Dori.

Rat_Bastard

Dori fan here... Jessica's "whispery voice" does irritate me a bit during the news, but I actually do like the exchanges going on with her and Dori. She's smart and doesn't hold back on her opinion.
Makes for good chemistry.
It's reminds me of the Howard Stern / Robin Quivers banter and I remember hearing Jessica say a few weeks back that she worked on the news team for the Howard Stern show.
Maybe Dori will start bringing in strippers and crazy people.
(insert Ted Nugent jokes here)
Not sure what to make of Luke Burbank hanging out with Dave.
It's good to hear him once a week like Carl Jeffers and Tom Tangney, but every day?
Ron and Don just simply have to go.
No preference for where they go, as long as they... Just... Go.

Pete

Well, in Icelandic Dori is usually a guy's name. But what he's not explaining is that his full Icelandic family name is Dori Jonssdaughter.

Arty Ziff

Dori and Jessica, eh? Is there a tasty rumor to go with that?

So Dori is a manly name, eh? Only if you've had a sex change...

Andrew

There's no such thing as a manly icelandic name.

Pete

LMAO @arty. I hadn't made the connection between "Dori" and the Finding Nemo character. For anyone who's seen the movie that'll be a hard one to shake...

Tommy008

hahahaah can you imagine that selfrighteous little prude having an affair? hahahahaa that's rich. this guy Monson is the biggest priss in town.

Peg

I hear disdain for her in his voice. He doesn't like being counterdicted by a woman. Reminds him of home where he's outnumbered by them.

Emile Flournoy

Counterdicted?

joanie

I bet he asked her to ask him about his name. That way he could retort to BW without the shame of actually admitting that he reads us.

"Newsie" is a good description of JG. She certainly is not a Reporter. She most likely was a Drama major in college rather than a Journalism major. Now she is biding her time at KIRO until someone brings back radio dramas. It will be a while.

She and Dori make a lovely couple.

RossifarianSpy

Actually I now feel Dori is Iceland's Ambadassador to the Puget Sound. Both Iceland and Dori share a love of open government, vigorous debate and individualism. Quite frankly we need Dori Monson running the place...
