First KOMO signed up Publicola, the news blog and delicious fruit drink; then KIRO-FM announced Wednesday they're partnering with Wall Street Journal Radio for morning financial coverage.
That means WSJRN’s Doug McQuillan is part of the station’s Seattle’s Morning News doing the numbers on the 25's and 55's during the 6-8a broadcast. KIRO-FM is also carrying The Wall Street Urinal This Morning, The Wall Street Urinal This Afternoon, and The Wall Street Urinal This Evening with host Gordon Deal. KIRO-FM operations manager Ryan Hatch says, “While the uncertainty of economic recovery remains a primary issue, blah bliddy blah, bliddy blah, blah blah...”
Yet another slice of the meager, live & local media pie served up to Mid-town Manhattan.
Ick. So much for local business coverage. How long are these afternoon and evening segments? Then again, who cares if you get less Frank Shiers or Allen Hunt (pre-recorded) show...
