Ryder

Why does anyone go on Matthew's show when they darn well know that he won't shut up long enough for them to make a point?

Chucks

You would get more viewers on Red Eye in the middle of the night than could be had by Tingles in prime time. Hell, he has less viewers than the pitiful blimp, Ed Schultz.
As stated by Ryder, anybody with a contrary view and a grasp on reality can not get a word in edge wise with that ass clown on MSNBC.

Duffman

I think the loan sharks that seem to permeate this blog from time to time ought to volunteer to go on Matthews' Show...just to get their pitch in...those little rascals. :)

sparky

Let's start our day with a song sung by Rush

Duffman

For anyone that might be interested RUSH will be here at the White River Amphitheatre with their ’Time Machine Tour’ on Aug 7th.
Should be a rockin time.

Rat Bastard

I don't listen to Rush...
Not that I don't agree with him on most things, I just don't like him.
Crazy, but I listen to either Dave Ross or Laura Ingraham at that time...
We all have to admit though that Rush has been one of the most inluential radio hosts ever.
Chris Mathews is absolutely unwatchable in any context.

KS

Sparkles- that video you linked was from the Clinton years and initiated by "black militant" - pot meet kettle - no credibility. I don't listen to Rush, but he's influential and polarizing.

As for Matthews, he is unwatchable and is the epitome of diarrhea of the mouth.

Coiler

It's ok Sparky, KS thinks everyone besides him, are black militants.

sparky

So many names, I'm going to have to start writing these all down...black militant, statist, cafeteria worker, oh and Duffman "knows" we are the same person. Still waiting to learn how Putzie used his magic Wunda Wunda crystal ball to determine this.

KS, I'm glad you enjoyed the video.

KS

Coiler, when are you going to stop being a bigot ?

Do you have something against blacks ? I don't, just black militants, Islamic militants, skinhead militants.

Sparkles, get with the times - stop being stuck in 1993.

Coiler

No I don't have anything against black people. You do, however as most of your posts are ACORN this or black activist that. Ya know?

KS

You are full of yourself, heir clown - show me the last post I referred to ACORN. I dislike law breakers such as ACORN.

If you don't, its because you are a marxist lemming. Time to grow up and relate to the real world.

sparky

Marxist Lemming....added to the list. Thankyouverymuch!

Duffman

THIS IS NOT RIGHT!...don't know 'bout you'all...but I really thought we'd be well on our way out of there by now. Lo siento mucho!

Duffman

Linda Thomas, apparently unbeknownst to Gregg Hersholt has been interviewing Gregg's family and has been playing snippets from those interviews all morning. The family is obviously proud of their husband/dad (as well they should be), and it's very touching hearing their comments.
Sounds like you've done a great job at helping rear a seemingly wonderful family.
On this your final day...again, Good Luck Gregg Hersholt!

Chucks

We can't leave till the job is done Duffy. We have enemy that needs killing.
It is the only thing Oblahblah is doing almost right. Let our Marines, Airmen, Soldiers and Sailors finish their jobs. They are highly capable and motivated. You need to not go all Cronkite and Viet Nam on them.

Duffman

Hear ya, chucks...I just don't think it's win'able without utter destruction...and then what have we won?

Chucks

We will win when one terrorist says to his fellow terrorist; "I think we need to blow up The Bank of America building in Seattle". When his buddy says "I don't think that is such a good idea. Do you remember what happened last time we fucked with the Americans?"
There is a point in which the enemy will figure out that messing with the US is not in their best interest. We just need to keep going until we find that point.

Tommy008

he should have gotten a gold watch.....those cheap, Moromn bastards

Duffman

We're dealing with a different mind-set who consider it an honor to be a martyr. And it all depends on what one's definition of 'best interest' is; to some it's not necessarily remaining alive. We'll just have to agree to disagree in this regard. :)

Tommy008

....those cheap, Mormon bastards.....no gold watch for Gregg....not right

Tommy008

did you notice? Gregg goy in one last shot at Jane and Val ...he reeled off the list of cohosts he'd worked with including Val and Jane, and then told Linda, who's worked with him all of 6 months or so , "you're my favorite"....CLASS ACT? REALLY?

KS

Marxist Lemming....added to the list. Thankyouverymuch!

Glad you liked it. That shoe happened to fit in that circumstance.

The Community Organizer/Agitator in chief has spent his time bloviating and digging a bigger hole for his administration with domestic issues. And so it goes...

Duffman

I'll bet that Rush, Hannity, Beck, O'Reilly, etc., et al wouldn't have the cajones to run a poll like THIS LMAO

joanie

"the last time we fucked with the Americans?"

We flew their families back to Saudi Arabia, attacked an innocent country, watched our so-called President dress up like Steve Canyon and declare mission accomplished, and ended up trying to rid a terrorist encampment from a third country; spent or lost billions along the way and killed hundreds of thousands of innocent people including our own.

Anything else?

Coiler

steve canyon lol...i was thinking buz sawyers pal, Roscoe Sweeney.

joanie

Did you see another 60b package for the military and they're arguing about unemployment insurance after ending Cobra?

Somebody ought to nuke Congress. No kidding.

KS

Hey, I'll second that notion. (can't believe I am agreeing with who allegedly wrote that)

KS

MSNBC’s Chris Matthews has an open invitation to any Republican officeholder “on the planet, especially in this country” to come on Hardball and simply say “I’m right, Rush is wrong” on any issue of significance to them personally.

There are some GOP politicians out there who fit in that mold, but doubt if few if any of them want to go on "Puffball" and not have a chance to get a word in edgewise or even get sucker punched below the belt by Matthews or any of the other shills like Bathtub boy on MSLSD in subsequent shows. Another problem is that no one of significance watched him to hear that challenge.

Duffman

Apparently the global warming with Tipper has worn off. How sad.
