The humble figure was Fisher CEO Colleen Brown and she was at a Rainier Avenue taco truck a few weeks ago - let's put it this way: she wasn’t having the prawns. She'd ordered the 3-taco combo (1 beef, 1 chicken, 1 tongue, rice and beans). She made a face when she opened the styro box. Her nose told her it was another bad choice: the chicken was neither live nor local.

... at $818,378, she’s probably not hurting too much. The President/CEO of Seattle-based Fisher Communications got less in straight salary than the preceding two years - $519,306 in 2007, $546,000 in 2008 and $491,400 last year. But last year Brown received a bonus for the first time in three years - $49,140. And her stock awards for 2009 ($228,200) were close to 2008 ($239,998). Here’s the three-year trend of total compensation for Brown – about $1.2 million in 2007 (probably the last good year for business in the Pacific Northwest). $1.1 million in 2008. $818,378 last year, in 2009.
Poor girl. She's a psychopath of the highest order.

If she were a male it would go un-noticed, but if a woman makes that kind of money when some think she's not worth it - it reverberates? We all know her salary/bonus is miniscule compared to the Wall Street boys (see latest Senate hearing on Goldman & Sachs), yet much is made of it.
She may or may not have warranted such a salary, but if she was able to persuade the powers that be within the organization that she was worth that much to them - well, more power to her. IMO, more $bucks need to go to more women.

She's not on wall street you idiot.
That's capitalism for you: overpays the brass and underpays the workers. So, we have crises like a near-depression and a toxic environment from mountain to river to sea.
Tsk tsk? Small men who sit behind small computers and post drivel all day.

Yes, all womankind need teeny tiny men who sit behind computers all day going "tsk tsk" to speak up for us.
You guys are creepy.

I don't like how she's looking at me. It makes me feel uncomfortable. I feel cold.
