She produced for Dave Ross, Ron Reagan, Tom Douglas, Ron & Don and worked at KIRO for 8 years! Tina Nole is back in town and working as afternoon news editor at KOMO.
(And before you even start, even Tina's a friend of this blog, she's never (the bitch) been a insider source for us. Our discussions are usually about cheese or her damn dog. Not that we didn't try... but she's always been disgustingly professional).
We’ve more or less kept up with her over the years as she left KIRO in 2007 to go to CBS Radio in NY. Then to the ill-fated Air America to produce the syndicated Ron Reagan and Ana Marie Cox shows. (At one point she asked if we thought AAR was good and solvent and we urged her join up. Oops).

Very cool...welcome back, Tina!

Would that be regarded as a step down or a lateral transfer.
[IMO, Tina was excellent with Dave Ross]
Another (of her ilk) is Jen Andrews, who apparently is currently travelling the USA on sort of a leave/vacation (?) from Luke Burbank, although she does contribute to the podcast from time to time.
I'm still curious why there still is some sort of 'connection' between KIRO My Northwest and Luke?? Would you know, Bla'M.

I love it when Dave Ross talks to LB at the end of his (Dave's) show; almost like a lead-in to TBTL, when he should be talking to Dori (girl's name). Is this Dave's way of endorsing TBTL over KIRO's programming? Hmmmmm .....

Tina's great, but putting together 5 hours of news is a LOT different than lining up a few guests. Good luck, Tina. You'll need it. Welcome to the world of HARD WORK, baby.

Thanks for the kind words - to those of you who said them - at least.
I am fully aware that I am swimming again in an extremely talented pool and humbled by it for sure. That said - it's not like I've been a slacker the last 3 years (living in NY and what not).
Proof will certainly be in the news pudding - I mean product. I'll do my best not to disappoint. Except you, naysayers.
With love, Tina.
