Rich Johnson, Fox News Radio White House Correspondent former KIRO anchor and our pal, has been named Senior National Correspondent.
Rich Johnson started at Fox News Radio as a General Assignment Reporter in April of 2005, as Fox was gearing up to launch the radio network news service. In 2007, he was named Fox News Radio’s first White House Correspondent. Since then, he has literally traveled the world covering Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama. Johnson has anchored and reported everything from Presidential speeches and campaign stops to the Super Bowl and the Olympic Games and more; taking time along the way to sample and report on the cuisine at many of his assigned stops. Prior to reporting for Fox News, Johnson worked in Seattle, Portland, New York City and Chicago.
Cool.

He can't help but be sucessful at Fox. He will probably retire from there, going out "on top".
Good for him.

So, is fox news now suddenly reliable? Or is there a different news side from the fixed one?

I'm trying to remember where that pic was taken (Iowa caucuses?) - and am again reminded that I really need to think about some sit-ups.
Joanie: Listen to the Fox News Radio Hourly newscast (KTTH, or foxnewsradio.com) and tell me where you find any spin. The great joy of doing what I do is that there's literally no time to do anything but the straight-up facts. Then the talkers get to have all the fun!
Thanks to all for the kinds words. And damn you all for making me perpetually homesick!

Rich echoed this well.
FNC is has been reliable for most Americans, except for the brazen statists like yourself and a few others resident to this blog :)

In fairness, for the umpteenth time; you and your ilk keep getting the political opinion shows - mainly conservative right-wing intermingled with the news wing of Fox. They are two separate entities who are on the same network.
For one thing, it is difficult to accuse Shepard Smith, one of the main newscasters of right-wing bias - more than not, he challenges conservative viewpoints.

I like Rich Johnson. He is a homey, sort of. He can hold himself professionally even working for the3rd Reich. Mazeltop, Richie!

I liked Bill Vitka when he was still at CBS, before he started pimping for FOX.

Well,I guess it is possible to be an honest legal counsel for the mob. But, I'm not counting on it.
Still, I don't begrudge a step up in the profession.
I'm pretty cynical about anything Ailes and Murdoch and the Saudi family has it's hands and money in.

Debates like this are why I can't wait until hurricane season. Part of my new gig will be the opportunity to cover non-DC, non-political news. Eventually. And now I know all about Christian Louboutin shoes. Talk about win-win!

I don't know about the radio side of Fox News but the Daily Show with Jon Stewart has featured many examples of right-wing bias on the news programs. Also there was a documentary a couple of years ago that showed the same thing.

Who wouldn't/doesn't like Rich Johnson? But it's sad that he's been swept up by Fox...

Do you suppose that Jon Stewart would feature examples of left wing bias on his program?

D.J.;
Read about your Dad today in The Oregonian. My best to you and your family. He was a good man, and a great fisherman.
