Malloy is authentic. Not a tool of Fixed News. And certainly not getting rich speaking the truth.

Posted by: joanie | March 26, 2010 at 08:23 PM

Malloy is a bitter, twisted ranting idiot, just like the type of person you are attracted to.

Just another hypocrite libtard who is polluting this planet.

The others attack the opposition, but I seriously doubt if Rush, O'Reilly or even Beck have ever stooped that low. That dude apparently believes he has to in order to appeal to the lowest common denominator of left wingnut-mania.

joanie

So you guys listen to Malloy, do you? Good. Maybe you'll learn something.

Nah. Your short-term memory just can't handle it. Still parrots but now two of them. Clean the cage, somebody!

agreed, all it takes are a couple postings by j(P)oanie and the cage needs cleaning...

KS

Hell no, I wouldn't listen that hate-filled idiot ! That sound clip was enough.

Like I said, it shows that you listen to that idiot, noting the perverted nonsense that your head is cluttered with.

Whatever you say, Einstein.

This came from Real News.com (the people below are medical experts) - to get all sides. In general, they are not impressed.

SMOLENSKAIA: The same day, Physicians for a National Health Program, a nonprofit organization of 17,000 physicians and health professionals, published their study of the House health bill. According to PNHP, about 23 million people will remain uninsured nine years out.

MARGARET FLOWERS, M.D., PHYSICIANS FOR A NATIONAL HEALTH PROGRAM: It's clear to us that this legislation will not significantly increase the number of people that have coverage, will still result in bankruptcies due to medical debt, and foreclosures on homes due to medical debt, will still keep the problems that we have in this country—it's not addressing those problems. They're trying to regulate the insurance industry, but that's been tried over and over and they are too powerful. It doesn't work. They find a way around it.

MANDY COHEN, M.D., DOCTORS FOR AMERICA: I know that there are critics out there who say we didn't go far enough and we did compromise, but, you know, that's what we do in a democracy: we compromise and we keep working. We know that no bill is perfect and no legislation is perfect, and we are not going anywhere, because as doctors and nurses we're going to be the ones that implement this, and we're going to see firsthand the holes that might be in this legislation.

FLOWERS: There are some things that people could say are positive aspects, but overall it's not a solution. It will do more harm than good. And remember that many—most of the provisions [in] the legislation don't even kick in for four more years, and the legislation forces people to purchase insurance, but no guarantee that it's going to be affordable. [You're] still going to have [to] face financial barriers of co-pays and deductibles. You're still going to have uncovered services that you have to pay for out of your own pocket. You still have to go through the restrictions of which doctors you can see and which you can't, which treatment you can get, which you can't. It's not changing the fundamental problem that we have in this country.

joanie

I don't disagree with anything said above. Where does it say it is socialism? Where does it say it does nothing? This is totally irrelevant to the crap you post.

For some, something is better than nothing. You want nothing.

joanie

Or is your whole schtick just a hate screed against obama?

I don't disagree with anything said above. Where does it say it is socialism? Where does it say it does nothing? This is totally irrelevant to the crap you post.

Posted by: joanie | March 26, 2010 at 09:45 PM

You come across as nuanced but do not make any sense much of the time. Speaking of crap posted - go back and look at your shit posted here. The experts that I cited about , are left of center and were not impressed with this plan. They made my point as I said all along - this wasn't about health care, it was about the government controlling health care. They weren't asked to talk about it being socialism so why would they have said anything about it ?

This is not a hate screed against Obomba - I don't hate him, I loathe him. I advocate common sense and exposing of the facts, unlike the lamestream media does, none of which I have seen from this jackass of a president and his minions. He conducts himself like a petulant spoiled brat, but is clever and is an ideologue advocating social justice, which is communism American style in his anarchical style of sidestepping the constitution and rule of law as much as possible. He does not respect those who disagree with him, because of those who he has associated with and flipped the bird on his left ear as shown on TV cameras to Rep. Paul Ryan, when Ryan was respectfully offering his rebuttal on Health Care Reform.

Another thing that pisses me off about him is that he is out to divide this country and conquer using Saul Alinsky tactics and finally transform. If anyone doesn't see that, it is because they are drinking the kool aid and are statists themselves applauding this stuff, like you, Sparkles, Coils (to name a few) apparently are. I am anti-statist because that is not the principles that this country was founded upon. BHO seeks to lower the bar and redistribute income in the name of social justice.

Your side has veered sharply to the left and started a fight that is escalating and it is for the heart and soul of this country. The conservatives and independents have just warming up in their push back. That's the way the statists want it, so bring it on !!

Paul Johnson

These phony whiners are only trying to distract the sheeple from the truth. They are in trouble for their treasonist acts and they know it. Ask patriots like Limbaugh and Beck how many threats and bricks have been hurled at them. And they don't set them up themselves like the communists do. They have done unmeasurable harm to our once great nation and they will pay for it. No Democrat media complex will save them. This intimidation and threats of violence is straight out of the leftists playbook and you all know it. Of course its okay if its code pink or the SEIU or Acorn doing the intimidation now isn't it comrades! If their is any violence the blood will be on their hands.

Coiler

I don't know of any bricks hurled at Pills, he never comes out of his hole. I think he has an underground tunnel to his EIB studio

Duffman

Surely we have advanced as a civilized nation to the point where we can avoid such antics. If not, we have the power of our US Military on the side of law and order and as you well know there are no more powerful weapons in the world than those that our military possesses. Therefore, if it indeed comes to that - the would-be upriser's will be crushed, regardless of their political affiliation, and this nation will proceed accordingly. Put any thought of violence away, this is not revolutionary times. We can (& MUST) all get-along. [smile]

joanie

This is not a hate screed against Obomba - I don't hate him, I loathe him. I advocate common sense ...

Klueless, take your meds and reread your post. If it still makes sense (commonsense or any other kind), take some more meds.

As for the left going lefter: the healthcare package resembles Romney's and Nixon's. How left is that?

Duffman: Put any thought of violence away,..

A little late for that isn't it? Besides, Jefferson was all for revolutions. I think we're past due.

Oh, and thanks KS, for admitting this is all about hating Obama. Hate will continue to blind you from both common sense and facts if you don't learn to control it.

sparky

heh..

Paul Johnson

I notice that no one disputes that the commies stage some if not most of these media events to feebly attempt to discredit the patriots. You are morally bankrupt.

KS

"Oh, and thanks KS, for admitting this is all about hating Obama. Hate will continue to blind you from both common sense and facts if you don't learn to control it."

Are you daft Ph(J)oanie ? I already stated that I don't hate him, I loathe him because of his policies and his attitude. Your musings are statist and your accusations are false. I will not respect a president who does not respect the rule of law !! I stop short of hatred of this president as opposed to your's and others hatred of Bush - 43 or Bushler as Coils, Andrew and others referred to him.

I do not condone violence, but if the ruling class provokes as they are starting to do now, the majority side will not back down and the opposition will strive for justice judicially or legislatively. Ultimately, a revolution may be necessary to reset this place, unless common ground can be achieved. Duffman is a peace lover and a pragmatist. which is always respected.

If any Union thugs get in the way and provoke violence like they have already done, there will be retaliation - I hope it doesn't come to that though. Your side continues to fan the flames of violence and false hope with the state-run propaganda machine (the lamestream media). Common sense and the facts is what you statists disregard and you exposed a tactic by trying and turn the argument around - actions of your ilk will bear out the insanity of the leftwing nut fringe who have hijacked our Federal Government - welcome to 2010 ! The truth will prevail, which puts all statists out of the running.

"As for the left going lefter: the healthcare package resembles Romney's and Nixon's. How left is that?"

How so, source please ? Nixon only had a vision, but he was a poor example - his economics were liberal, even though he was a Republican. Romney care is the most expensive state run health care program in the US and it has been analyzed to have better cost controls than Obamalosi care.

joanie

Democrats' health plans echo Nixon's failed GOP proposal

...My point is not whether or not Mr. Nixon's plan was better than Mr. Obama's. In fact, they have many points in common.

I can always deliver. Now, for more of your beliefs. You wouldn't have to ask if you'd do some objective checking once i na while. Depending on rightwing entertainers for news is gonna make you look foolish every time.

Oh, and how about this: The Nixon-Kennedy Health Care Plan
How Richard Nixon and Edward Kennedy Worked For American Health Care

Stein also says this: "My only point is that if you want to call someone a visionary, if you want to call someone compassionate, if you want to note that someone was a foe of inequality and a friend to mercy, think of Richard Nixon, with a host of problems of his own the likes of which Mr. Obama cannot imagine, reaching out to the poor and the uninsured to help. "

Vestiges of heart in the Republican party; but then, Nixon didn't get his plan through Congress did he?

So, everyone who disagrees with you - even if they are on your crazy side - are poor examples of anything? What an idiot you are.

joanie

Just who is a "good example" Klueless? Joe McCarthy maybe? Mussolini?

You need to listen to And author David DeGraw will be joining us once again to talk about the ultra-secret business organization that is working behind the scenes and behind closed doors to control our elected officials.

You don't even know who the elite really are. But you sure are entertaining.

Paul Johnson

What about the staged threats or Obamas plants in his audiences fainting? Care to address that Joanie?

joanie

staged threats

Source, please. Haven't heard of them.

A fainter? One? When? How staged? Source, please.

PJ, I think you're dipping into the bottom of the barrel which is a good thing for our side. But, tell me more. I love a challenge.

KS

"So, everyone who disagrees with you - even if they are on your crazy side - are poor examples of anything? What an idiot you are."

No Ph(J)oanie - only when they continuously lie and dodge the tough questions like you love to do. Are you really that insecure with your beliefs ? Having an honest discourse with you is like having one with my computer screen. Another lie you tell is that you don't like a challenge - hahaha. You resort to distorting facts when they get in your way or name calling - you're a helluva role model for your students.

As for the idiot name calling - whenever you say that, that is a clear signal you have lost the argument. You say that the opposing side is crazy because you are projecting the hate, vitreol and fascism that your side shows onto the anti-statists when they challenge your opinions. You may fact check, but only leftwing sources that often distort the truth. Therein may be part of your problem and others of your ilk.

From the same article but last paragraph:

Bartlett thinks this story is much bigger than the careers of two Republican free-thinkers:

I have always hoped that my experience was unique. But now I see that I was just the first to suffer from a closing of the conservative mind. Rigid conformity is being enforced, no dissent is allowed, and the conservative brain will slowly shrivel into dementia if it hasn’t already.

Sadly, there is no place for David and me to go. The donor community is only interested in financing organizations that parrot the party line, such as the one recently established by McCain economic adviser Doug Holtz-Eakin … this is a black day for what passes for a conservative movement, scholarship, and the once-respected AEI.

The conservative brain will slowly shrivel into dementia... Well, KS,you and I have already covered that one, haven't we? And there's that ugly word parrot again, huh, sputs.

Blah, blah, blah. Ask what ? You need a refresher course in Reading comprehension. Go back and read my post before prattling on - it would make you appear less of a wack job. I did not dispute what you posted. Ben Stein should know - he worked for Nixon, but where is your evidence to the contrary on Romneycare ?

"Depending on rightwing entertainers for news is gonna make you look foolish every time."

I read and listen to a wide range, right, center and sometimes left. You ought to try reading and listening to a wide range yourself and we would find your comments to be less nut-roots, ridiculous and more credible. Thought I bring that up for the good of the blog - don't see that happening from you or Sparkles any more than a infrequent basis.

Well, seeing as how you are listing into your dying days, I'll leave you to your fantasies about talkers on the left. Sleep perchance to dream, KS.

Good job of pulling that one out of your a-hole. The left wing nutters and statists have a higher incidence of syphilis. You probably already have tertiary stages of syph. ROFL.

joanie

Uh-oh! You're joining chux in the toilet. Signs of dementia maybe? They say talk like that is always the last to go...

KS

No rebuttal of any substance - just another ridicule - speak for yourself - Ms. short term memory loss.

I am versatile - I don't believe in staying above the fray like a number of ineffectual and wussified Republicans do - I'll joust in the mud with the Social Democrats or whoever and strive to rip off their masks. In the end, I like common ground, but that looks to have a snowball's chance in hell right now - with the my way or the highway attitude on display.

joanie

You don't read the rebuttals anyway. Your previous post proved that. You just like to talk dirty. I have no rebuttal for toilet talk. Coiler was right.

Andrew

There is no mainstream public opposition to health care reform. Those who oppose it do so on purely emotional grounds. There's talk of it being too expensive but nobody is talking dollars and cents. The emotional knee jerk reaction is that it will lower health care quality for the majority of Americans who aren't sick and who don't perceive a problem. Once it's discovered that it helps many and hurts few to none, asking for "repeal, replace and reform" is going to strike most as an idiotic and tiring excersize in regression.

Where would you get off asking for reform all over again when reform is what the new status quo purports to be? Redundant much?

Republicans are short on ideas and long on posturing. At least they know their few strengths well.

KS

Ph(J)oanie - Always snarky (and that's polite talk). Andy - you merely spouted familiar libtard talking points with no meat on the bone.

Time will tell whose reaction is knee jerk and will wait that out. I'd even say that I hope that I and others who foresee gloom and doom - higher taxes for less care are wrong.

"There is no mainstream public opposition to health care reform. Those who oppose it do so on purely emotional grounds."

You pulled that one out of thin air. It belies a majority of opinion polls that prove a majority of the public oppose this BFD. Actually, you are correct that the mainstream media doesn't oppose it because they are an appendage of the White House. They suck and should be deposed for their dishonesty and lack of objectivity !!

The above statement makes no sense: If you oppose something on purely emotional grounds, you still oppose it !!

Tommy008

The fact that Palin refuses to take the crosshair targets and "reload" off her facebook page proves that she's just pure white trailer trash...

Tommy008

Dr. Bill has known Harry Reid for a long time and likes and respects him- he just repeated that again on his show.....

Andrew

People are often emotional about many things at first, but in time once people cool down they come to their senses and can make rational decisions, and that's reflected in rising poll numbers.

The insurance-based form of public health care doesn't work and never will work. Insurance, by definition, is something you get before you need it, before you get sick, before your house burns down, so the idea of forcing insurers to allow those with pre-existing conditions is antithetical to their reason for being. Insurance companies, as such, are being dismantled. This really just a pre-cursor to socialized healthcare, the only true solution to keeping healthcare costs down and fulfilling the "life" portion of the promise "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness."

We're not having an intelectual or moral debate with conservatives, becuase they're motives are selfish, plain and simple. Conservatives want the haves to live and the have-nots to die. Why did the Democrats ultimately shut Republicans out? Becuase the grown-ups are talking.

Guess you "forgot" this part in the article about the credit "scandal" in Cleveland.

"Marshall, however, argues that DFAS is making decisions based simply on the credit score. He says workers who failed the credit portion began receiving termination letters in 2007, and since then, 25 have been either fired or forced into early retirement."

Let's see, who was president in 2007? Bosh? Bush? Something like that. And his paychecks were being handled by the same workers.
