Bill

Lookin' like a fool wicha pants on the ground, Rush.

translucy

Is he drinking again?

Evening smiles

Just gettin down with his peeps ... thank god we could only see the back side

Bill

Why do I suspect Rush didn't vote for Miss Virginia?

Rex

Guy just had a heart scare in Hawaii recently - that was probably a move to quench concerns about his health.

Julia

God bless Rush Limbaugh. He has been our beacon of truth during these terrible times of distress. Families are struggling. Rush provides a window of optimism that there will once again be a bright future when we as a society begin to make the right choices.

Bill

What?

Tigsnort

The great thing about Rush is, he just oozes dignity

Julia

He is a man we can trust. The corrupt nature of our government and politicans is so troubling that I worry incessantly for my grandkids. Rush Limbaugh, Dr. Bill, Glenn Beck and Sean Hannity represent to the honest soul of our country similar to the founding fathers.

sparky

Tigsnort..lol. Love that.

Julia..keep chumming the waters. Someone is bound to bite.

saintrudy

Julia ; You have the wrong page, this is not the comedy club !!!

KS

Julia, how dare you hold those evil conservative rabble rousing talk show hosts who are really entertainers. They deliberately distort the truth put out by this White House. The White House are really the ones who ooze dignity.

Up is down, dark is light, right is wrong....

sparky

See Julia? It was just a matter of time.

アダルトSEO

Oh,no, I can't see nothing.

Julia

Dr Bill speaks the truth. Our freedom is regularly chipped away by the new phase of liberal politicians. What happened to my country?

Dave

Dr. Bill is a babbling old man that coughs and sputters and constantly has to deal with phlegm. He's too old to be on the radio. KGO's numbers have really started to tank since Bernie Ward and Karel left. For the first time since the 80's they aren't #1 in San Francisco.

Julia

Mr. Dave can you please provide me one argument against his idea of air drops of food packs and water. Thank you sir.

Dr. Bill

this Blatherwatch Blog that you Seattle kook libs up north there are operating night and day is vulgar, absurd and criminal.

Julia

Bernie Ward was a pedophile.

Dr. Bill

Babbling old man? Hey, take a hike, Dave you vulgar green Nazi! Take a hike, fella! you kook lib bastard!

Julia

Like a knife slicing through the fog of liberal nonesense...Dr Bill.

Killcarb.org

What a beauracracy!

Julia

All truckers unite!

Killcarb.org

Julia

What happens in California typically moves its way up to Washington.

We need to remain vigilant.

Julia

While listening to Dori Monson it soon becomes obvious that the Gregoire fiscal strategy is practically a carbon copy of the bankrupt policies in California.

We need to rise up and be heard.

Dave

Who wouldn't advocate for air drops of food and water packs in Haiti, duh!

Julia

Obama has refused this strategy. You must listen to Dr. Bill at kgo.com

Dave

Maybe this is grandpa Bill's way of trying to make up for his support of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan where hundreds of thousands were killed or maimed. Maybe Bill can leave his dacha and head to Haiti and help the effort.

Dave

Dr. Bill the kook:
Bill W. has openly suggested the use of standing armies on American Streets and within American homes for law enforcement purposes. "Our troops are going house-to-house removing weapons in Bosnia. Why not use them to do that in West Oakland or South Central Los Angeles?"

Julia

If you're a criminal you don't belong on the streets. Is that a difficult concept to grasp?

Dr. Bill was in charge of the Bosnia air drops. Look at the great success there.

I am afraid you need to brush up on your understanding of criminal law and on European history.

Tommy008

hey has Dori Monson moved to South Carolina? there's a candidate for Governor there who compares poor people to stray animals who shouldn't be fed, because they will breed and multiply.

Julia

A person's wealth is determined by the values he/she holds and the choices he/she makes. Some folks fall through the cracks and can be supported through private philanthropy. Most of the poor in America have chosen that lifestyle. One simply should travel to countries/regions like Haiti and Sub Sahara Africa to truly grasp the concept of poverty. One could argue that it doesn't exist in this country. As my friend Suze Orman says one should not "enable" others financially. Government handouts are "enabling" people to rely on the government. In almost all cases it becomes a vicious cycle that people can't get off.

sparky

"Dr. Bill was in charge of the Bosnia air drops....
Yes, he was famously quoted afterwards:

"As God as my witness, I thought turkeys could fly!"

Tommy008

private philanthropy does not work in modern society, as a solution to the poor and handicapped. It was found to be not working and a dismal failure in the 1930's so government policies had to be instituted to provide a decent safety net.Note Julia's post above carefully. This is the thinking of a fascist, basically mirroring and mimicing Monson's thinking, which of course is also fascist. As the Bible says -"the poor will always be with us". Not to be willing to provide food and other necessities for them is evil- period. Fascisim is cruelty- the kind of cruelty that causes Dori Monson to laugh uncontrollaby as a man screams while being tasered. A good movie I want to see is The White Ribbon- a German film about cruelty in a post World War One village in Germany. The movie concerns the oorigins and seeds of fascism in that country.

Tommy008

did you catch the Monson hour where he argued with and hectored arep from the UW over the Husky Promise program which guarantess tuition only fo rdeserving students who cant afford to pay. He sounded like a pinchfaced old meanspirited Grandpa as he argued the kids should work 40 hour a week jobs to afford it just like he had to at the UW , even though he admitted he's paying most of the freight for his girls to go to college.

KS

Sparkles, why do you feel the need to resort to being intellectually dishonest when you don't have the facts to support your sensibilities ? Just keep parroting the lamestream media who are usually intellectually dishonest.

Can't you come up with a better way to whine ?

Julia

Tommy...Dori Monson was successful against all odds. Why can't others aspire to do as such.
This country was built on individualism.

What is so bad about working and going to college simultaneously. I believe there are studies that suggests students in that demographic achieve higher GPAs.

Nobody in America dies from starvation. Yes we have hunger but nothing close to 3rd world nations.

We are a compassionate country. Americans gives more in charity than all other nations combined. Please check you facts.

Tommy008

A STUDENT WITH NO FAMILY SUPPORT WILL STILL HAVE TO WORK TO AFFORD BOOKS, RENT , FOOD, ETC. tHE UW FELLOW KEPT TRYING TO EXPLAIN THIS TO BRICKHEAD mONSON. mONSON WAS FURIOUS THAT A STUDENT MIGHT GET AWAY WITH WORKING ONLY 20 HOURS INSTEAD OFTHE 40 HE PUT IN. SICK THINKING FROM A MEAN, SMALL MAN, AND I'M NOT TALKING ABOUT HIS HEIGHT.

The Parkinsons

Dr. Bill? wasn't he one of the founders of Alcoholics Anonymous?

Julia

What is your point Tommy? What is so bad about working 40 hours per week and going to college? Lots of people do that. There is clear evidence showing that working students do much better than non-working students that usually just sit around and smoke pot.

Tommy008

htere are no studies that show students working 40 hours a week have a higher gpa than those that don't. working a reasonable amount per week in college might give you an even gradepoint level with nonworking students or perhaps slightly higher. not 40 hours a week. get real please. the guy from the UW told Dori he didnt want his students to have to work a full 40 a week becuse it harmed their scholastics. he knows better than you- he's a professional in the field.

Julia

Here's the study...

In an interesting new study published by the United States Bureau of Labor Statistics, college students who worked a part-time job while going to school actually performed better than those who did not work. In fact, among college freshman who attended four-year universities, those who worked between one and 20 hours per week had a GPA of 3.13 on a 4 point scale. Those who didn’t work at all, on the other hand, earned a GPA of 3.04.

CHECKMATE!

TommyOate

Oh Oh! Like puget sound Julia apparently deals in facts and the liberal progressives here CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH !!!
Bravo Julia, but be aware you'll likely be attacked mercilessily.

Tommy008

you need to learn how to read, fool. reread my post above and you will find i just admitted that students who worked a reasonable amount per week( 2o hours or less is reasonable in most people's book and my book)would have either the same or a slightly higher higher gpa than those who didnt work. The UW man kept trying to tell Brickhead Monson that the students in Husky Promise were most likely goign to have to work part time anyway even though their tuition was paid. what checkmate? all youve proven is that you don't read well. i said you have no study that shows students WHO WORK 40 HOUR WEEKS do better then nonworkers.

TommyOate

It's all about discipline you dipshit. If you have the discipline to work, you likely have the discipline to study and make the most out of your college opportunity. That's what Dori Monson was trying to get into your fucking thick skull.
Now, leave him alone and get your ass over to another station if you don't dig him. Simple as that.

Esteban Cafe, World

Shhhh, you're BOTH distubing.

TommyOate

Eat it, esteban.

Esteban Cafe, World

Where can we post on Air America? Oh wait...

TommyOate

Try the unemployment line.

KS

"the liberal progressives here CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH !!!"

spot on ! Intellectual dishonesty and trying and calling out those who disagree with them as whiners or worse. Remember, when all else fails, which is frequent, the best defense is a good offense, just Alinsky wrote it. Stay the course, Tommy Oate and Julia.

sparky

Better watch out..Duffman will come along and tell you to make yourselves useful.
