After all it's been through: Evan Cohen, bankruptcy, and Randi Rhodes, there seems to be a stability there now. The network/syndicator keeps putting one foot in front of the other.
finally last week relaunched their website that looks great, and works too- both attributes missing from their old site.
It's a 24/7 news aggregator with original content; it's packed with multimedia streams, on-demand stuff, a live video channel, and a clip library.
There are three live streaming audio channels, on one you can hear top talkers Rachel Maddow, Ron Reagan, Jack Rice, Ana Marie Cox; another has live streaming of New York-based programming, including Lionel and Montel Williams; and another with a live stream of Washington, D.C.’s WZAA. Social media includes interactive chats with hosts and producers.
There's a classics library with clips and shows from AAR : Sen. Al Franken, Janeane Garofalo, Thom Hartmann, Sam Seder, and Randi Rhodes.
I have listened to Jack Rice a few times and I like him a lot.

I see Jack on MSNBC all the time, he's an interesting guy- a progressive with nation security experience and credentials. Wish they'd bring him on in Seattle.

He can have Nancy Skinner's spot on the weekend. That would be a start.
Ron Reagan seems to be gaining a national audience. Funny that his star should be rising while Michael's has long since almost disappeared.

LOL at Air America being stable. It is no more 3 months after you wrote this.

Air America Chairman Charlie Kireker says the syndicator is "ceasing its live programming operations as of this afternoon, and will soon file under Chapter 7" to carry out "an orderly winding-down of the business." He blames a "perfect storm" of economic conditions for all media and for New York-based Air America in particular. The company will feed taped programming to affiliates starting at 6pm tonight, through 9pm Monday, January 25. After that, "Air America programming will end."

Wow. Guess I'll have to switch over to Air Canada. Did you know they have never experienced a chargeable crash.

It will mean Ron Reagan will go elsewhere, but Stephanie Miller, Thom Hartmann, Mike Malloy, are all independent, as are many other liberal talkers. It wont matter.
And Air America made it possible for Ed and Rachel to move beyond the radio medium and end up on tv.
I do feel sorry for Ron Reagan, but he will most likely be picked up by the Jones Network.

Meanwhile, nice to see Conservatives don't mind Judicial Activism if it goes their way.
