Why does a nondescript lil ole talker drive the entire liberal media establishment batshit crazy? Beck's words jackhammer a railroad spike deep up the ass of the Progressive Movement. The left wing is compulsively obsessed with Glenn Beck

Puget Sound

chucks, can you confirm the Seattle Times Article this morning that there were around 30 anti-Beck types in all?

7,000 pro and 30 against?

ryder

KJR's TOP 50 of 1964

1...I Want To Hold Your Hand
2...She Loves You
3...Oh Pretty Woman
4...I Get Around
5...A World Without Love

Oh! Wrong topic. Oh well, its morre interesting than than anything anyone has to say about Glen Beck.

Duffman

You're sure right about that ryder! :)

Kevin Bender

Instead of debating ANY issues Glenn Beck offers, the Progressives, on cue from Mr. Alinsky, choose instead to isolate and demonize the messenger. Your routine is getting old.

chucks

There might have been 30. I only saw about 15. But it is a big place.
I saw more anti-free speech people on the drive from Safeco to Mt Vernon.
(It was funnier than shit. We were going about 80 MPH north of Marysville when a car load of anti's blew past us, flipping me and my grand daughters off. I probably should not have had the big impeach Obama sign in the back window. They were probably going 95. We passed them about 15 miles up the road while they were on the side of the road visiting a Trooper.
There is something to that karma stuff.)
Anyway, it was fun. The girls got to witness free speech and freedom to protest at the same time. All and all, it was pretty civil. A few morons had tasteless signs. I just explained that those folks were from Evergreen State and just don't know how to behave in civil society.
Today, the Hawks sucked.

KS

Looks like the Times reported it accurately. Long live the First Amendment. I'll bet Alinsky's books are selling well these days - that's the level that political discourse has sunk to - get used to it :(

The Hawks laid an egg (to put it nicely) and the Huskies came back to earth.

Grand Oligarh

Ok 7,000 paying to sit in a stadium that can hold 60,000 as opposed to 30 protesting on the outside. Only a reader of Pravda can find comfort in that logic. She's a qrazy thinker.

Dr.Brainfart

Anyone notice the grammatical similarities between KS and Chucks?

joanie

mrogi aka judas Beck's words jackhammer a railroad spike deep up the ass of the Progressive Movement. The left wing is compulsively obsessed with Glenn Beck

Well, mrogi aka judas, it is like Reichert being obsessed with the Green River Killer. Now do you get it?

Oh, probably not. Go away and count your thirty pieces of silver.

Lucas Foxx

"Instead of debating ANY issues Glenn Beck offers,..." That seems to be the problem, the issues that Beck offers are so far outside reality that they are indefensible, even by Beck himself. You know you really suck when you can't defend yourself against Katie Couric.
There must be a direct correlation between the ability of Becks and the Hannities to the rising illiteracy rates in this country.

Lucas Foxx

There must be a direct correlation between the ability of the THE Becks and the Hannities TO LAND NATIONAL SHOWS AND the rising illiteracy rates in this country.

Drew

Both Beck and Rush have said on several occasions that they will research what's going on in Washington for you, and you just need to listen- while that's pretty scary, it explains a lot about today's ignorant cons.

chucks

Is that a little like "listening to talk radio so you don't have to" Drew?

Drew

While that's an issue you should take up with B'lam, a blog functions as an opinion page, whereas pundits like O'Reilly and Rush and Hannity like to pass themselves off as journalists, until ethics interfere with their hate and fear mantra- then they pretend to have been commentators all along. When an entire network is so blatantly right-wing as Fox, they are not entitled to call themselves a "news network" anymore (Rick Sanchez of CNN said it, I didn't, but he's spot-on)
