Ever put ice cubes in a glass of milk? Try it. Refreshing.
Which one is Ron and which one is Don? I know one talks like an ass, but I still get them confused.
Even Wal-Mart is sold out of fans. Go figure!
Frank Shiers? Really? A gazillion unemployed people in Washington state and this is what we get?
Ever have to pull a poopy string out of your dog's butt? Embarrassing.
Who's that guy filling in for Dave Ross this week? And why is he doing one national book author or topic after another? Are there no more local issues to be discussed?
I hate buying the big tubs of ice cream at Costco in this heat. Melt. Melt. Melt.
Any truth to the rumor that KIRO PD Rod Arquette has the same hearing problem that Limbaugh had? Only Rod is totally deaf. Can't hear a thing. Including KIRO.
Why can't they invent self-tying shoe laces?

Seperated at birth: Rush Limbaugh (when he was really fat) and Bonneville big cheese Bruce Reese.
Anyone else watching and rewatching that ESPN Erin Andrews peephole video? Smokin'! Makes me wish I was 60 years younger.
KIRO does not steal 50% of their news from NPR. They steal 90% of their news from the Times and PI websites. They don't even bother to buy the actual paper anymore.
Did Jim French really buy a custom rotisserie casket after listening to TBTL so that when he goes he can roll in his grave for all eternity?
Wet towels put in the freezer and then draped over you at bed time (when they're ALMOST frozen)...let the fan(s) blow over you...gives you enough respite to get to sleep. :)
DairyQueen online says there is a DQ at the west side of the Seattle Center but it's an Orange Julius Store DQ. maybe they just have sweet DQ treats there, no burgers. i'm not sure. Update later.
How's your mom doing sparky; does she live with you? This can be really harsh on the 'eldery'...checking on my mom today found her (at 91) in good shape and actually enjoying the heat (she hates the cold)...ha She lives a couple of miles from me. It's good to check on these folks. :)
I am not a fan of Bill Maher but check him out calling Americans stupid. At first he tries to say its the conservatives but asked about just having elected Obama he basically even calls all Libs stupid also.
"One of the selling points of my house was the heat pump that has a cooler function that is like AC."
not quite. your "heat pump" is an air conditioning unit. In winter, the indoor coil acts as a condenser (giving off heat) and in the summer acts as an evaporator (absorbing heat), while the outside coil does the opposite. When my HE Gas furnace bites it, I will get a heat pump also.
Puts - so you know M. Steele- however you and he are different. Steele posts like an ally of Joanie which is probably the biggest difference. Interesting though (was also skewered several times on SP by Pudge). Enuf said.
OMG! I don't even remember Herb's. Perhaps my senility has finally caught up with me. Leets see, is it gramatically correct to use two prepositions side by side?
I do remember all the Dag's commercials on KJR. Whatever happen to Jocky John Stone?
i am sure that m steele will be back. i hadn't heard about the skewering. ouch. i guess ol' pudge doesn't play around. i still recall what he did awhile back to ph(j)oanie when he broke down her tired arguments. brutal and probably not legal in some states.

i liked m steele.
didn't he mention awhile ago that he was going off for a bit? that was the reason i said he was taking a well earned rest and would be back.
but to clear things up for slow joanie who couldn't wait to make an assumption, i do not 'know' m steele.
and yes, to suck and to blow (spew) is a bad thing joanie.
Let's clean it up and talk more about root beer floats; the best RBF is made at home. I prefer a less creamy vanilla ice cream for my floats, such as Breyers and a quality root beer like Thomas Kemper.
I made root beer floats for the grand daughters last night. Gramma yelled at me. Spoling the gurlz etc.
So, I just pulled out the Thomas Kemper Orange Cream Soda and Costca Vanilla Ice Cream. The 8 year old goes yummm grampa, this is the yummiest I have ever tasted.
Hey, no violation. she said no more RB floats. I am the grampa.
You see chucks I believe that every time joanie reads a post like that from you she 2nd guesses herself for lusting after Gen Wes Clarke. I think deep down she really likes you. ;)
Thanks, Coiler. I'm listening. I've heard this guy before.

I want to know when Dairy Queen stopped dipping dipped cones more than once?
In Raymond, you can still buy a great dipped cone. In Ferndale and Mt. Vernon, it gets one dip.
No hard shell there - it's like a cone with a little chocolate spooned over the top.
I felt cheated.
Next time I'll try Marysville's Dairy Queen. There aren't any in Seattle. Maybe I should inform Warren that Dairy Queen is on the skids...
