The Reagan Wing Hearin lies the real heart of Washington State Republicans. Doug Parris runs this red-meat social conservative group site which bars no holds when it comes to saying who they are and who they're not; what they believe and what they don't; who their friends are and where the rest of the Republicans can go. Well-written, and flaming.

The Radio Equalizer prolific former Seattle KVI, KIRO talk host speaks authoritatively about radio.
It is historic. First format change fro 710 KIRO since it went on air in 1927. As much as I like Dave Mahler Broke Huard and Mike Salk have a more intellectual show. Colin Cowherd opened his national show this morning plugging Seattle and had seattle themed guests.
I love it! Two buttons and I can simply alternate between my two favorites, sports and KIRO personality talk radio. It doesn't get much better than that.
Didn't Michael hire somebody to report about this? Instead all we get is a yawn. More proof that Michael is a complete joke. Shamelessly promoting his daughters failed career, turning a radio blog into a 3rd rate Daily Kos and lying about TBTL.
Spring has sprung, JR is back, the world is new again.
I can't wait to hear Dave recite "Casey at the Bat" and all his other cornball baseball talk. Please keep it to yourselves if you don't like baseball, at least for this day.
Call me delusional to be comforted by the baseball warm fuzzies, but I am content in my delusion.
KIRO can go to hell. I had to stream Ross's show this morning but when I'm in the car, I'm out of luck the majority of the time. I've got a choice of sports 24/7 or a scratchy almost unlistenable 97.3. Thanks KIRO..I hope you FAIL big time.
Strange that the only time the pigs in Seattle, be it radio or anything else, care about Lewis Co is when the freeway gets flooded.
Most of you regulars here deserve what you got. KIRO found a better place to be. None of you meant anything to the station anyway. Why should they pay any attention to a few radical assholes? Becoming what you'd prefer them to be would have bankrupted them faster than Air America, and put them on par with KPTK, which actually does try to program for you, not that you'd notice by reading the posts here.
Why should KIRO care about Lewis county? You guys have a couple of your own stations. Go listen to them.
Hey there KSR.. if you had any brains, you'd know that of the two stations here in Lewis Co, one is oldies and the other is syndicated right wing radio.
In the future, do yourself and the rest of us a favor and don't offer opinions on something you know nothing about.
Iwaas going to talk about sports and 710ESPN BUT- NAHHH... instead- why does The Doors studio album version of Break on Through now have those changed, bastardized lyrics in the middle section. I had to download a Live at the Fillmore version of it to get the proper lyrics for my Myspace page top ten songs.I don't like people messing around with someone's music after they're dead and gone. It seems liek some sort of Candyass censorship thing done at the tail end of the Bushler fascism/prudery regime. Goddamnit the lyrics are "she gets...she gets...she gets....LAAAID" not that new version where Jim screams "she get's high she get's high she get's high then something unintelligible. It sounds like tapes were spliced together to fabricate this bogus phrase. Quit messing with classics, whoever you are. Bastards. Pissants
Wikipedia claims that the "she gets high' lyrics are actually the original lyrics, now uncensored. But it sounds better the original version with four "she gets " with thE third and final word unsaiD until the last "she gets' where i swear i hear "laid", in a drawn out fashion. They should not have messed with it.period. it's like going back in time in a time machine and coming in your parents house and taking a crap on their rug during Easter Sunday Dinner 1967.

KIROFM 97.3 Multi-format: news and nearly all local talk. This is where classic KIRO AM news talk radio went... hopefully, not to die. The home of Dave Ross & Luke Burbank, Dori Monson, Ron & Don, Frank Shiers, Bill Radke, Linda Thomas, Tony Miner and George Noory.
KUOW FM 94.9 Seattle's foremost public radio news and talk.
KVI am 570 KHz Visit the burnt-out husk of one of the seminal right-wing talkers in all the land. Here's where once trilled the reactionary tones of Rush Limbaugh, John Carlson, Kirby Wilbur, Mike Siegel, Peter Weissbach, Floyd Brown, Dinky Donkey, and Bryan Suits.
Now it's Top 40 hits from the '60's & '70's aimed at that diminishing crowd who still remembers them and can still hear.
KTTH am 770 KHz Right wing home of local, and a whole bunch of syndicated righties such as Glennn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, Michael Medved, Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham, Lars Larsony, and for an hour a day: live & local David Boze.
KPTK am 1090 KHz Syndicated liberal talk. Stephanie Miller, Thom Hartmann, Ed Schultz, Randi Rhodes, Norman Goldman fill in the large hole to the left on Northwest radio dial.
KLFE AM 1590 kHz Syndicated right-wing 2nd stringers like Mark Levin, Bill Bennett, Mike Gallagher, Dennis Prager, Dennis Miller and Hugh Hewitt inhabit this timid-voiced neighbor honker for your radio enjoyment (unless you're behind something large like Costco).
KOMOAM News, traffic, Ken Schram and John Carlson.

Interesting, Coiler. I see why I have trouble getting FM in Birch Bay. It is beyond the fringe...
Am cuts up into Canada. Why is FM so evenly spread out while AM is unpredictable to say the least?
Thanks for posting it.

>>Am cuts up into Canada. Why is FM so evenly spread out while AM is unpredictable to say the least?<<
Different technology. AM follows the curvature of the Earth while FM travels in a straight line.
>> if you had any brains, you'd know that of the two stations here in Lewis Co, one is oldies and the other is syndicated right wing radio.<<
Guess you don't have the brains to know there's FOUR stations in Lewis County - but it's not surprising you'd ignore the FM there.
Posted by: RobP | April 07, 2009 at 08:26 AM
RobP...if you had any brains you would know that those 2 FM stations consist of country music and the programming of Centralia Community College.
Talk radio, outside of syndicated right wing nuts, does not exist here.
