Seems the the Partay of No! ain't much of a partay anymore. The socialist overlords have even fucked up their cable service and Fox (of course) Sports.
Conservatives are now kvetching about Comcast; the patriots are not amused -- as a matter of fact, they want to kill!
(One of our readers had to remind grumpy, erstwhile couch surfer Earling that Newt Gingrich's 1994 Contract on America killed cable rights
or consumers).
The following was posted under "Domestic Terrorism News," over at the cranky rightist site, Sound Politics.

I am utterly sympathetic with Jonah Goldberg's plight here.
available from our overlords at RCN: Friday.
And yet, in this country, if I were to kill someone from the cable
company, I would be the one to go to jail.
I started having problems with Fox in HD through my Comcast service in December. Being an NFL fan, this was not a small lament. Comcast managed to keep bungling the issue all the way through the BCS Championship Game...on Fox. I finally had it partially.
We for one, would love to see Jonah Goldberg and Eric Erling off to the big house for killing the cable guy, but, hell, that's just us....
I do not think I am drunk. Or stoned. Borderline diabetic coma perhaps. But the above post makes absolutely no sense to me.
Perhaps it is just past my bed time.

I had a similar problem with AOL not long ago. After hours of talking to a rep in trying to get my new router working I gave up. Next morning I called comcast and got hooked up in a matter of minutes. No wait involved. The only problem I have now are my wireless security cameras. Seems they are on the same frequency and I need to turn them off if to go online with one of the other comupters in my house.

Must say, Obama does look good in that poster. Makes him appear more honest and open of his true beliefs.

The liberals ruined the networks now there going for the cable. I say give them more of a stimulus. Up they asses!

I'm still waiting to see what Comcast is going to do with all of us little people who don't pay a week's paycheck for the full line-up of too many stations to watch in a week.
What's going to happen to my monthly $16 cable bill?

DISH works out well. Never a bit of problem and has a bonus feature. DISH is in a pissing match with KOMO over fees or some such crap. What ever their problems are, we have not got KOMO since late last year.

The pissing match is with ABC

No, it is actually with Fisher. Oregon, Wa, Idaho and wherever the hell Fisher has TeeVee has issues with DISH.
That according to both KOMO and DISH web sites.
I had not noticed any problem until my wife and grand daughter bitched about the Oscars.

The s*** hit the fan when the Rose Bowl c/not be seen on Dish.

it seems you're correct chucks.
Fisher is "demanding unreasonable contract terms and an excessive programming rate increase of 82 percent for continued carriage."
Dish negotiated with the other providers for carriage. Maybe if they hadn't built that monstrosity of a building, they could run a station like everyone else.

Anyone know who are the players that will be distracting the President tonight as he addresses Congress and the Nation tonight.
