Publishers and staff of the progressive blog Blatherwatch pat themselves on the back as extreme right-wing loon Bill O'Reilly (KTTH m-f, 8-11p) leaves radio this month in disgrace and failure.
"It wasn't this post or that post," says media critic Dr. Edgar "Choch" Mañana. "It was a critical mass of incisive BlatherWatch critiques that punctured the Mighty Wind[bag] of Fox Radio and brought him down."
"It was the vicious fraud of the War on Xmas; it was the right-wing zealotry; it was his wobbly neck skin," says Michael Hood, an O'Reilly "enemy" and major contributor to the blog giant. "The folks weren't buyin' it any more."
BlatherWatch, and Hood dared speak out as the rest of media stood by, fearing reprisals from O'Reilly such as "a little visit" from "Fox security."
"The BlatherWatch reporting on O'Reilly were acts of journalistic bravery worthy of a Pulitzer-like award, and a big cash prize," says Mañana.
"Freedom-loving people everywhere owe BlatherWatch a debt," said President-elect Barack Obama.
"Lookin' out for you..." said Hood. "is my job,"
OK, kudos to you Mr Hood. You skeered BillO right off of the radio. He was too libral any way.
Can you get that clown Olbermann off the TeeVee. Maddow should be on at 8:00 and if Olbermann needs to be on, they can put him up against Red Eye.
That would be impressive power.

The world is a little safer now. I wonder if Bush will give you the Medal of Freedom for your good work?
Thanks, BlatherWatch!

we'll see how good the rhodes, olberman, et al types are when they won't have W to gin up the viewers.
oh those precious 'special comments' by olberman in which he goes with his 'mr. president for shame' commentary will be a thing of the past.

Once again the great conservative conspiracy has censored the free speech of an independent, unbiased American.
Perhaps this action of Mr. Hood, a well known confidant of the Discovery Institute and former speech writer for Le pen, will be mistaken by some on the left as "a good thing."
How little they now.
Sad.

Blah blah blah. You got rid of O'Reilly? BS, give me and us a break. More progressive misleading crap. Research and get ALL the facts leading to his radio departure to concentrate more on his #1 Factor cable TV program and other issues, personnal or whatever. Whether you like O'Reilly or not, he's very succussful, with or without radio. I don't know how he and others found the time to do all they do. Of course Michael, time is of plenty for you I'm sure. Take a tiny piece of it and RESEARCH. I guess that's not your style. Anyway, some of your little band of followers do find you amusing enough to keep you going. Well, whatever floats your and their boats..............
