Watch Gov. Gregoire’s third debate with Republican Dino Rossi. It’s being televised live at 7p on PBS stations around the state.
KCTS – Western Washington
KYVE 47 – Central Washington
KSPS – Spokane
KWSU – Pullman
KTNW – Richland
Will Gov. Gregoire bring up Buildergate tonight in the debate?
What's that? It's the broadening scandal that could envelope Dino Rossi's hard-fought campaign for governor.
Rossi has long been associated with the thuggish, Building Industry Association of Washington, a hard-right political lobby whose front group, ChangePAC has been buying some of the dirtiest political tactics this state has ever seen.
But Seattle papers report that documents released Tuesday Rossi to fundraising campaign ruled illegal and being prosecuted by the attorney general, Rod McKenna.
Months before he announced his bid for governor, notes from a May 2007 meeting of the Master Builders Association of King and Snohomish counties show Rossi contacted association officers who were making fundraising decisions feeding political activities of the BIAW.
“Buildergate is a major scandal for Dino Rossi – he was undeniably directly involved in an illegal fundraising campaign orchestrated by an ultraconservative trade association of powerful developers,” said Aaron Ostrom, Executive Director of Fuse. “And this may just be the tip of the iceberg.”
Goldy's got more here. And so does The Examiner's Chad Shue here.
More libs pulling shit out of their very own moist, dark, stinky ass holes and spreading their vile crap about the state.
Most of what you guys extract from your asses is diarhea and never sticks.
You guys just keep pulling it out and throwing it against the walls.
It isn't sticking, but at least you are staining the walls.
Hope you wash your hands well before eating.

chuckz such potty mouth!
If they have the minutes from the BIAW meeting and those minutes are incriminating, then...he's in deep shit, to continue your metaphor.

Speaking of "loopholes". Wasn't that a central part of Kerrys campaign for President in 2004. Now four years later, with the last two with both houses of Congress controlled by the Libs, and those loopholes are not fixed yet. What have these Libs been doing for the last 2 years?

I believe it was established on the Dave Ross Show today that this was much ado about nothing. You see our Governor has no record to run on...ergo the attack ads and challenges just to change topics and keep off important issues. I would hope even devoted LP's can see this tactic being utilized. Can anyone name one thing that our Governor has accomplished while in office and/or can you name one solid solution she has spelled out in detail for the future. Doubt you can...as she can't seem to come up with one. Her best chance of maintaining her Crown is if Sen Obama wins in a landslide. That's the way I see it...but as I'm sure someone will remind us...I said it would be Hillary...and I said the Huskies w/beat Stanford...go figure. [smile]

Like tonights vote in the Senate. This would have been a good time to add legislation to close those "Loopholes". Did Hussein work to get it included. I see other "Sweetners" got included. It goes to show you Libs, Hussein is nothing but talk.
Posted by: nevets | October 01, 2008 at 06:05 PM
Oh yeah, I forgot. It should have read...
Hussein is nothing but talk and a "CHANGE" sign.

Tonights vote must not have been important enough for olde Ted Kennedy. Todays no show backs up my claim during the DNC that he is not totally with it and should be replaced with someone who is competetent. Maybe the memories of Mary Jo screaming for help as water filled the car are haunting him to much nowadays.

Steven, it was a bi-partisan effort....Obama voted for it, and so did McCain.

Is it just me or have the conservative posters kicked into overdrive in the last couple weeks? I'd respond more myself but the republicans are all self constained acts that require little explanation like sparklers that are about to burn out.
The best amo against Chris Gregoire is something about casinos, they are upset because Gregoire *DIDN'T TAX* someone. Wow. Dori Monson is now in love with government and anti free market. Palin is hand grenade who pin was pulled the day she was chosen. Dino Rossi... a republican...for a change? Dave Reichert is a pleasent fellow. McCain is sinking in the polls DESPITE a stale mate at the debates. They're all open and shut cases.
I'm actualy intrigued by Tim Eyeman's new initiative but nobody wants to talk about it.

No, she did force a bunch of state Employees to be unionized, many against their will and thus force them to pay dues to said unions.
Now she gets money from the unions for her re-election campaign.
So she has an accomplishment.
She blew the Indians and the union bosses.

I tried to watch, but Rossi is just too creepy. I had to turn it off.
I will read analysis later.

He looks like he is suffering the ravages of herpes.

But where was the "Loophole" closures he is promising to do if he becomes President. Like I said earlier, this is nothing new, Kerry made the same promises in 2004. If there was a chance to close those "Loopholes" tonight was the chance and it didn't happen. Why?
Posted by: nevets | October 01, 2008 at 09:01 PM
The best guess I have is there are no "Loopholes" to close and he will just tax the hell out of everyone like McCain has been saying all along. He is a lying smooth talking Politican with a sign like some bum you would see on the off-ramps of major freeways looking for free money. Only this time you will not have a choice to give it to him.
Posted by: nevets | October 01, 2008 at 09:05 PM
Oh. My. God! Rossi started to shed his skin right there on the stage! I thought that Blethen kid would piss himself.

Oops. I watched their Blaine debate on TVW at the same time. I didn't see the note about this one until it was too late.

We know Gregoire is working for Obama. She is de facto using his Marxist Acorn tactics as governor to create economic chaos by running-up a large deficit, redistributing wealth to help prevent opposition by those who have wealth, increase state government power by taxing and hiring more state employees, resulting in greatly decreased citizen economic and political freedoms, leading to dictatorship. She is auditioning for commissar, not governor. She has to intentionally impoverish our state to justify further taxation and economic slavery. Make no mistake about this: Obama, Gregoire, Frank, Emanuel, Olbermann, Maddow, Blitzer, Couric, et al., are revolutionaries barely operating under the strategic psyops radar to overthrow our government and destroy our nation. We can hope for the best, but we must prepare for the worst. If all we do is respond with business-as-usual, peacetime civility and posturing then we can kiss our asses goodbye.

She kicked his ass last night. She might beat him if she keeps that up.
