I hear tomorrow that "Deal or No Deal" will be showing the episode where someone actually beat the banker and won a million dollars. Thats must see TV.

Puget Sound

Nevets
It will be No Deal for you and I come Obama/Biden.

Merci
Hope your wedding turned out well. Congrats and we'll hope to see some little Merci's running around the net one day.

But you diss the one you call Duff-fuk at your own peril. Mr. Duffman represents an important element ie the spurned Hillary voter- who will play an important role in the upcoming election. Pretty much everyone else has locked in (or will after today's Randi Podcast) in to a candidate. Even GG has decided on Bob Barr. Not sure about AA yet.
But our good friend Mr. Duffman and minions he represents have yet to decide. The next 70 days or so will be key.

Puget Sound

Poor Sedar. Even Air America recognizes his lack of talent.
He loses his radio gig and now he has to be the 'chief blogger-editor?'
Just put him in charge of the copy machine so he can hector others (ala Saturday Night Live) and be done with it. He'll finally get the message and go back to free-lance magazine work.

Coiler

It's all on Duff-Shill He did say he would support Obama as the candidate if Hillary lost. Look it up. But then duffman sez a lot of things....

Harry Knopp

There's a great set of DNCC (and RNCC) links on USA Media Guide. They have links to the official sites, the protest sites, local Denver and Twin City media coverage, where to watch them online, and links to blogs reporting from them.

The link is http://www.USAMediaGuide.com

Duffman

Yes re-coil I did say that and sort of felt that way at the time. However since then much more hasn't come out about him...ergo what we don't know and then the capper was Sen Biden...I don't care for him. I just may exercise my right not to vote or...McCain...or Barr....or Nader??

nevets

Carter. Kennedy, Maggila, Pelosi, Jackson Jr. speaking tonight. Deal or No Deal will be much more exciting. And if the Seahawks game is still on afterwards, I'll switch to that. But I will keep my eye on the breaking news. Nothing better than watching Liberals acting the fool protesting their own at their own convention.

nevets

Anyone see what the Farmer's Almanac is predicting this winter. Brrrrrrrr.

Gay Gary

Great news everyone - Biden endorsed McCain! Well, good to know this election is finally settled. Now, for 2012 -

Biden Endorses McCain

Duffman

Yeah, I might go for a McCain-Hillary ticket!

Gay Gary

Democrats Plan "One Nation" theme --- I think it's awesome Obama is finally embracing his Islamic heritage by naming the convention theme after one of America's most prominent Muslim-American advocacy groups.

Tommy008

Dave Ross is shilling for Obama right now in Denver, rationalizing ABOUT THE BULLYING AND MANIPULATION that Obaa's achine thugs did in order to win so ant caucuses so big. It was so obvious they even ade a fil about this which was shown in enver last night. The caucus results were so diferent than his real vote results where his showings was much weaker. Reeber all the blowouts by Hillary in the last twenty states or so? Ross-what an annoying wimp. DEAL OR NO DEAL tonight at 8 nbc5.i'M ADDICTED TO THE SHOW AND THE PSYCHOLOGY OF GREED IT EXPOSES. Mandel did a teaser promo but THE way he couched it it soundeD liek he was slyly saying that the Million dollar winer is SOMEWHERE in this next batch of new episodes, not that it would necessarily be tonight. that's just my read.

Tommy008

For a while i thought HR must be mistaken when he said Monson wouldn't be in Denver until tomorrow, but it was just confirmed on KIRO that indeed it's true- the bratboy won't be making his regal appearance in Denver until 12 noon Tuesay. Incredible. This must be something he insisted on as a kind of "mine's bigger than yours" childishness and egotrip confirmation of his King status over Dave Ross. The lower status host comes in first- the King a day later. I'm sure the figure quote by HR- 450k a year for prima donna Dori, is well over what Dave makes. By the way , a gameshow site confirmed my suspicions- the million dollar winner is somewhere in this next batch of four DOND shows. It could be tonight-or not. after these 4 new shows they take a small hiatus until Oct8.

Tommy008

Don't waste your time at the convention tonight watching Michelle's speech or any of the other poopscoop. Pop the popcorn, snap the snaptops on the sodas and watch Deal or No Deal and rent a video or two. Some good choices- No Country for Old Men, Casino Royale, Death Sentence,.....

Duffman

Dori has other committments i.e. Seattle Seahawks who play in San Diego tonite...ergo he does a lot more for the station than DR.
HE IS THE KING!!! ...and we all know it don't we; otherwise we could just ignore him...his greatest fear

Tommy008

I'll have Savage on in the background tonight. he's on live 3-6 and DelayeD on KTTH 6-9P.M. HE MIGHT PLAY THE FEED OF Michelle's speech with his ONGOING SIMULTANEOUS derogatory comments about her as she speaks- a laff riot. That's assuming she speaks at 8pm.. eastern.

Duffman

This piece helps convince me that Joe Biden as one Heartbeat Away from POTUS should scare the hell out of all of us.

AuthenticAndrew

At this point I don't plan to vote, but thanks to the electoral college it doesn't really matter whether I do or not. Let the record show one less person approved of either option.

mercifurious

Thanks Puts. It was great.

But you diss the one you call Duff-fuk at your own peril. Mr. Duffman represents an important element ie the spurned Hillary voter- who will play an important role in the upcoming election.

...In all do respect, this is the dumbest shit you have typed on BW. Possibly ever.

The screaming crazy courthouse steps woman = Joe Sixpack? Yeah, right.

Remember: this is the moron who
A.) Runs for cover every time he get's his ass handed to him (and you know I have the links folks, just ask).
B.) Never posts sources, but always runs from them
C.) Believes a genocide denier over a Iraq weapons inspector (who ended up being right!)
D.) Readily cites Drudge (who openly hates "his woman") and WorldNutDaily (UN Tax!).

But you still believe that he represents some sort of "spurned voter"?

Duff represents McCain's rat-fuck troll-brigade to a tee (albeit blatantly), but that's it. End scene.

Yes, I diss the troll. No, I'm not in peril.

Duffman

the villages' America's friendliest home town...the villages' America's friendliest home town...the villages' America's friendliest home town...

..sing along Merci...why Oh why not Hillary???

AuthenticAndrew

mercifurious, polls show 20-25% of former Hillary supporters aren't on board with Obama, the idea that they will vote for him at the last second has no logical basis, and you forget that Hillary had centrist appeal.

I'm not going to vote for your new Messiah, and my way of thinking is far from unique. There is nothing you can do about it. This race will a nail biter - assuming one cares about the outcome.

Coiler for locking up for crazy republicans

yes why not Hillary, if not for the fact that a Obama/Biden ticket makes the neo-cons wish for "operation chaos". Did these same operatives support Hillary when she did her 'dodging snipers' in Bosnia shtick?

Duffman

...sing along with your Sen Biden...re-coil; that's a good lemming...

Coiler

figures, like Merci said...duck and cover duff(duck)man

AuthenticAndrew

Tidbits; producer Shawn Datory (sp?) is 31 y/o.

Wow, I was thoroughly convinced that he was 19-22. He talks it and sounds it. No, that's not a good thing. He produces two shows and aparently can't afford a car. This guy really needs to get his shit together. Burbank treats him like a kid despite their age difference being all of a year or two. This is coming from someone who's not even 30 yet.

chuck

Merci Merci Merci
It is obvious that you have been married for only a few minutes. Congratulation on that. Hope you two have great lives together. If you are as happy as I, you win big time. If she is as happy as my bride, well, keep her high.
The obvious part is that you still think that you have an opinion that counts. She has not as yet got a good grip on the short ones. It'll come.
I for one am glad that Hillary is on the side line. She would have been tough to whip. I don't think Obambam will be that formidable. He won the nomination before anybody knew who he was. He won on hopey-changey fantasy. Now as folks learn more about him, he loses some of his voters.
I know that a lot of folks in the heart of America will not ever vote for one of them.

FREMONT

OMG! The boys are spraying all over this blog like territorial cats...Sparks, Joans, girls, we need some reasoned estrogen! (MF, having just mated, is excused from this reeking pile-up...)

chuck

Oh come on Fremont, the gurlz are excused. You know they have to go back an face the heathens and their parents soon.
They will spank us as appropriate in good time. Are you not a teacher as well?

Duffman

Don't know if any one is watching the Dem convention on C-SPAN but they have a great band.

Duffman

..may be Sen Biden can do 'the villages' with them when he shows up

AuthenticAndrew

I like hearing about Biden's drunken singing, it tells me he's real and that he enjoy's his freedoms. Maybe I can trust him to trust other adults and their adult activities.

sparky

Hi chucks..yeah I was at school all day. We took off last Wednesday at noon. Took the Republican tour of Hanford..you will be relieved to know that there is no ill effect from rolling around in nuclear waste. I know this because the tour guide told me so. I was having second thoughts about leaving my cell phone and laptop at home because I would miss my Obama-gram, but as it turned out, when the secret service showed up at Biden's house, the secret was out and CNN and MSNBC were all over it. So I got to see it afterall. But it was kind of like having your brother tell you what's in all your Christmas presents before the big day. So, I get home, tune up the laptop and review the goings on and low and behold Puts and Duffman are having a love fest. So, I have been waiting to jump back in. I was pleased to hear Hillary tell Johm McCain " I am Hillary Clinton and I do NOT approve those messages." heh..

Coiler

Hillary will tell her supporters to fall in line-- as will Bill who will deliver a pretty good speech. Caroline Kennedy is speaking now

AuthenticAndrew

I didn't support Hillary so that she could tell me to vote for Obama.

tranquillo

sorry. the democrats will all support obama in the end. duffman may not, but then again he's not democrat. he is a republican who never did support hillary or any other democrat.

Coiler, for retail milk pricing

yes, vg We knew that after his 'army milk' novel

sparky

Michelle Obama just gave a fabulous speech. A very articulate woman and she will be an excellent role model for young women around the world. She gave a great shout out to Hillary and the crowd was thrilled. Freemont did you see it??

nevets

What a rip-off. I thought for sure she was going to win it tonight. Turned down 500g's for a role on broadway.

Nope to Obama

The convention is underway and and after hearing Michelle, I'm beginning to change my mind about the Obamas. She sounds like a real mom and a strong woman with a big heart.

Tommy008

oh my God. Can you say EGO? Can't this guy let his wife have her night and enjoy her applause and cheers, basking in the afterspeech glow. But N-O-O-O he has to pop up on a huge screen behind her, with that inane grin, like the Wizard of Oz, sitting in some Dem family's house in St. Louis. The lovey dovey chit chat with 'Chelle and the girls was banal and sickening. These are very dangerous people.

KS

There will be some bounce for Obama from the convention - there always is. However, I don't see him being up by 17 points like Dukakis was over Bush after the 1988 Dem. Convention.

There shouldn't be much bounce if one examines what is being promoted, but people don't pay much attention to what is being said at these dog and pony shows - have to agree. Not sure how much bounce will occur after the Repub convention. The steps toward energy self-sufficiency is the edge that the Republicans had better promote big time and make the most of and don't talk much about Bush after he leaves the arena..

Tommy008

i saw the big black woman lose the cool half million on DOND BOUT n hour ago. I had to turn it imediately off. This family looked like they've had a modest life. Another killer loss. She stayed on because they goaded her into going all the way with promises of a walkon, probably nonspeaking, part in a Broadway musical(Broadway is this amateur singer's dream) if she won the million. Folks if anyone out there ever gets as far as a half mill on a game show of any kind, just take the money and run. Your odds of getting to that rarefied level are already so low, to expect to then go on and win the million is just madness.

sparky

Well then, Nopie, you will just have to Bounce Your Boobies!

nevets

Now the truth comes out that Sparky does listen to Randi. "Bounce your Boobies"

nevets

Watching the Kennedy speech, it is so sad to see this man of great promise grow old and wither. He is like the old timer ball player who refuses to quit as he strikes out over and over costing his team victory after victory. Yes, I have been critical of him, murdering Mary Jo, promising universal health care for over forty six years and never making good on it. But today, as I watched him call his brother "John Kennedy", I saw that his faculties are not all there. So sad.

sparky

Yah, we all know his brother is named Al.

Harry

Just recently she discovered pride in her country, now she has love for her country. Doesn't make sense.

sparky

Only if you believed the spin around her earlier comment.

Duffman

Yeah Harry and you can 'take that to the bank' if from sparky...remember her astute judgement of character and support of John Edwards.
