The Reagan Wing Hearin lies the real heart of Washington State Republicans. You know how O'Reilly is always sending his "producers" with cameras to mug unsuspecting citizens he disagrees with to make them look like a philanderer in the headlamps?
He did it one too many times to PBS icon Bill Moyers, who challenged Billo to come on his show to talk about his sex scandal.
In the exchange, Billo-tron Porter Barry got some footage at the National Conference for Media Reform in Minneapolis this weekend that did not appear on The Factor tonight.
Don't miss the exchange at the end where real reporters try interview Barry as he scurries away like a raton.

I can't realy hear what the producer is saying to Moyers which the fake internet journalists take later accuse him of being a setup for a hit piece. Anyway it's funny but also sad that the internet hacks do to the producer what the producer did to Moyers.
What was with all the finger pointing and touching of the face by Moyers?
I always thought Moyers had no class and Moyers proved that with his "I am not a classy guy" remark.
And what video were you watching B'lam, I see Porter walking out just fine except for some thugs trying to pick a fight with him. If the cameras were not there, I would bet them Libs would have done the Philly cop routine on him.
Well I do think it was a bit silly for Moyers to offer the "I'll Go On His Show If He Comes on Mine" thing. I mean come on, going on a PBS show is like going on some college kids video podcast ... that's a rather big incumbency to put on a network news personality. I mean does anyone watch those things? Hell, the only way I even know who Bill Moyers is, is because I own the DVD of his 5-part series with Huston Smith.
(1) When the F is John Carlson getting off his fat ass and climbing Mt. Rainier? I'm so sick of hearing how he's climbing Mt. Rainier for breast cancer and Ken Schram is climbing Kent's East Hill. Christ, they've been running promos for that for like 6 months now. Just do it already.
(2) Is that Mark guy from Kirby & Ko. still on the show? I've given them all 3 for almost 2 weeks now and haven't heard him in 2 weeks and they've also stopped running his wikitalk commercials. Has he moved to another station? News, please!
(3) Will someone please tell Carleen Johnson that it's super-annoying when Kirby makes a statement about some liberal doing something liberally and all she contributes is a bitchy sigh - "GHHHHAAAAWWWW". I think she must have been reading this blog and got tired of hearing people complain how she never says anything so she coined that "GHHHHAAAAAAWWWW" sound she makes every few minutes but it just makes her sound like a total B-word. It was better when she was sitting silently in the corner than going "GHHHAAAAWWWW" all the time. (To the general listening audience she comes across as some kind of judgmental step-mother who didn't approve of her step-son coming out as gay and moving away from the family estate in South Carolina to the left coast with his flamboyant boyfriend after college and then ended up being a total downer at all future holidays, eventually turning to the drink, moving to Miami and starting to fool around with men half her age, ultimately crashing her Jag on Biscayne Blvd. in a bizarre incident that embarrassed the family and caused much headaches and an intervention.)
While Moyers is ideologically lame and out to lunch, it was poor form what O'Reilly's guys tried to do. I long for an intellectual discussion between Moyers and an opposing viewpoint, like the type Charlie Rose does would be more effective. That would be educational and enlightening to many including some ideologues on this blog.
Charlie Rose engaging George Will in an intellectual discussion last Friday night was excellent TV and Mr. Will made some very good points as to why Government is not the solution to economic and societal woes, rather the solution is for Government to get out of the way and let American ingenuity through private enterprise and solve these problems. Meanwhile Charlie Rose showed his curiosity by asking sometimes probing questions.
What kind of name is Porter anyway...he should have been a bellhop.
Moyers is old school- Barry was getting annoyed that Moyers wouldn't roll over and say "Sure I'll walk into the spiders nest with my neck bared for Shill O'Reilly."
Moyers invited him first- Bill's refusal is prety much about self-endorsement.
Where Moyers has actually provoked thoughtful discourse, O'Reilly only editoriallizes.
You know, GiGi, it is interesting to me that the right which loves America and democracy and war and the flag and lapel pins so much hates our way of doing business and the Constitution.
So, introducing articles of impeachment and following the dictates of the Founding Fathers is now a circus.

I love it! Moyers was playing to the camera the whole time! And he remains civil to boot. Great footage.
You idiots can't tell that? No wonder the right is in trouble.

Hmm, you don't like Kirby, Carlson, Schram or Carleen. Why don't you come over to KPTK?
We're doing fine over here. Lots of passion. No interventions needed. Nobody gets embarrassed. Just one big happy family.
And you could be listening to Kucinich addressing Congress in actual time with his articles of impeachment.
Talk about live and relevant...

Well I did love the circus when I was younger but I’m not sure it would appeal to me much nowadays!
