There are more of us than there are of them

Last summer George W. Bush came to Bellevue to raise money for Rep. Dave Reichert and thank him for his support of the president’s Iraq policy. In response, local and national bloggers raised $124,000 for Reichert's  challenger, Darcy Burner.

In one weekend in August, they raised more than the fatcats and the prez.

Wednesday, First Lady Laura Bush will be in Medina headlining a$500 per person fundraiser to jumpstart  Reichert’s flailing campaign. The netroots are responding with a drive to raise 250 additional contributions over the next few days. Every little bit counts, so please give today,

Even a little helps.

Reichert is tainted by having a Bush campaign for him. Darcy Burner is tainted for having little discernable substance - an empty skirt - yada, yada, yada.

Darcy Burner is a dimwit. Burner makes Patty Murray look like Steven Hawking. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE let the state Dem party find a better, more qualified, and intelligent candidate than this mental midget.
