BRYAN HAS APPARENTLY MADE A GOOD IMPRESSION ON THE PROGRAMMERS AT KFI. HE'S REPORTING: My time on KFI has been extended thru next week and I've been advised
to explore the sundry housing options.
Bryan Suits is trying out tonight (thurs.,12-6) and (Fri.,12-7) on classic LA talk shop, KFI, homeport of John & Ken, and Dr. Laura. It's where Leykis, started.
Suits is fresh kill from last month's KVI mini-massacre- he and KFI's management are looking at and listening to each other to see if Bryan is a fit for John Ziegler's week nightly spot Ziegler left KFI November 13.
The shows are live-streamed here, from 7-10p.
Suits started in radio in Los Angeles.
I wish him well, I really enjoyed his show on KVI. I just wish the time slot worked a little better for my schedule.

Hey, how about your "progressive" talk show host Bernie Ward getting busted on CHILD PORN!!!
Posted by: Tommy008 | December 06, 2007 at 10:25 PM
That picture creeps me out. If someone is looking at you that way you generaly make hasty retreat.
Posted by: Andrew | December 06, 2007 at 11:10 PM
Andrew...if you ever see me giving you that look...you should should indeed flee. Stay out of LA.

Robin Bertolucci must be **really** hard up for help at KFI.
Posted by: Sclub | December 07, 2007 at 06:22 AM
Actually, Leykis started at KFYI in Phoenix, and later moved to KFI Los Angeles. Minor point.

Good Luck to Bryan and I'll be streaming him.
Hey Seattlenerd, in regards to Leykiss, was it before or after Phoenix that he got into trouble for beating up wife number 4.
Tommy008, is that true about Bernie Ward?
Posted by: PugetSound | December 07, 2007 at 07:45 AM
Yikes Tommy008!
here it is
WOW
May be more to this. Sounds like he may have been doing 'research' but we'll see.

I heard Bryan last night. It sounded like the same old stuff we heard from him here. flat and sarcastic. I thought he would be a little more lively in LA.

Brian is not ready for prime tiem in the largest market in America.

Bryan Suits can be successful down here if they give him a chance. I was not impressed last night, but I will be listening tonight.
Posted by: misty | December 07, 2007 at 10:38 AM
I hope Bryan Suits does not get into distribution of kiddie porn like Bernie Ward.
Posted by: abob | December 07, 2007 at 12:16 PM
If Bryan could get a good producer to reign him in and access to some solid guests he will do fine.

PugetSound, can't help you with Leykis' domestic spats. But he was very interested in a computer BBS I set up for a Seattle area radio station in the 1980s (pre-Web days) for listener feedback, which is how I got to know him professionally.
Posted by: Seattlenerd | December 07, 2007 at 05:46 PM
Thank you Seattlenerd. Man, I recall those Computer BBS back in the day. Hard to believe how far it has come, eh?
When I heard Leykis in the early 90's I use to like him. But he went from serious host to what he does now sometime in the mid 90's. I guess he figured he would be more successful with his woman hating persona. Hey, I did find the Leykis story on the smoking gun website.

LA is just another liberal circle jerk. If Bryan isn't hired down there it is because those libs are afrsaid of what he has to say.

here is what Leykis says about the incident as of a few days ago. Leykis was ambushed by a surly caller the other night, who asked him "say, didn't you shove your ex-wife's head back into a brick fireplace ledge?" Leykis replied that it was completely untrue, and even slanderous. He went on to "clear up" the "misunderstanding'. He claimed that he and his wife arrived home drunk after a Christmas psrty , and that his wife wanted to continue an argument that they had gotten into either at the party or shortly after arriving home. Leykis said that he had been too tired to argue and went to sleep, only to be awoken by police officers with a flashlight, a few hours later. If ever there was a demonstration of the contempt that Leykis has for his listeners, it is this story which he expects us to believe. We're expected to believe that not only would he not bring charges against his exwife for making an outrageously false police report (the original charge was attempted murder, but it was later dropped down to assault) but also he would remain married to her for many years afterwards, with the knowledge that she had put him through this hell in the past and could do it again at any time, on a whim.

You are correct, Tommy 008.
I'll just add that the deal with the crowd that 'enjoys' his crap talk is that many of them are not very bright and probably harbor the same views toward women.
I guess he is really saying she was asking for it...yikes, what a moron.

Can we please return this thread to How Perfect I Am For KFI?
BTW-My time on KFI has been extended thru next week and I've been advised to explore the sundry housing options. Just me here....but isn't that a GOOD sign?
Discuss!

Not a good sign for those of us WITH A JOB who are driving home during your 7 - 10 pm air time. My vehicle does not get internet streams.
Congrats though, hope it all works out well for ya.

Hope you get the job, Bryan. I believe they didn't give you much of chance or promotion on KVI. You have one of those minds where Los Angeles and Port Angeles meet.

Bryan, It is nice to see that you did not lose your watts my friend! Best wishes for you and the dogs in LA! Check out this song on Youtube "Twenty" By Robert Cray, for the troops, and our brave veterans!!

Bryan,
best wishes and hope you get the job--also, I hope I can catch it streaming up here in the Pacific North Wet.
Point of order: doesn't pretty much every house in LA...have a swimming pool?
