The Medical Examiner's office expects to have the identification of the body found in Mike Webb's house by early afternoon.
Without yet knowing
about the fate of Mike Webb, his old friend, and fellow broadcaster, John McMullen will take calls in an on-line GAYBC Radio talk tribute to Mike.
He writes: I'd like to open up and do a tribute and retrospective to Mike at 3 pm Pacific Friday at gaybc.com. Those who wish to join, are welcome to do so.

such an effort seems ridiculously ill-timed.
One has no idea whatsoever that webb was the victim, the perpetrator, or completely uninvolved.
at this point, the only "known" is that his whereabouts are unknown.
airing a tribute seems ill-advised. wait until we know the cirumstances surrounding the discovered corpse, then decide to do a tribute or not.

I think the copy should have read:
John McMullen, longtime felon and scam artist, announced that he will be hosting a tribute to Mike Webb on GAYBC Radio, his latest attempt to siphon cash from unsuspecting investors into his off-shore account(s) while running the company in the ground before filing for his 6th business bankrupty.
McMullen was quoted as saying, "People seem to be on to me that my latest scam business is a last-ditch attempt at having any assemblance of self-esteem or filling my bank accounts, so I thought I'd take advantage of Mike Webb's tragedy and see if I can actually get someone to listen to my pathetic and aloof ramblings. I really couldn't care less about the man. Afterall, I did fire him from the scam known as GAYBC 1.0 because he wouldn't have sex with my lover. I'm accepting PayPal donations for this tragedy with all proceeds going to my next liposuction and another surgery to remove the warts that have recurred in and around my sizable anus."

Mike Webb, R.I.P. I hope you've now found the happiness that you've deserved for so long.

Good bye, Mike. Give Francis, your Mom, and Bill Gallant our regards. I am sure they are welcoming you at the Pearly Gates.

the tribute calls continue to come in. frank shiers is hosting a nice tribute to mike webb. some great heartfelt calls. even those who don't like the politics of mike webb, they do praise his skills.
per frank shiers, mike webb had a concealed carry permit and was in favor of such laws. so while he was a 'liberal' he would cross over.
if you cared about free speech you should understand that it got a chill tonight with the death of mike webb.

Besides his production skills, Mike Webb did have a great radio voice. You may not have liked what he said but it came to you in a clear and resonant fashion.
I think Webb's quote that they have been playing yesterday about his views on God and of many that profess a belief in God catches the essense of Mike Webb.
