Sorry to see her go . . . bet they are, too! She put up some good topics and they worked them well.

Maybe Tina will take on a fourth . . . es posible? Anti-K - where are you?

Sorry to see her go ! It's to bad Ron and Don can hold there own , But She could have helped,
Frank My ratings are in the bucket Sinking Sheirs , And Who really need's Help in Gen is the over baked Brain , the Styblehead radio program it,s more then just bad it,s plan wrong !!!!!!

"Or somebody who can sing: she wrote and sang the national anthem of the Ron & Don Nation."
Well I don't know this young lady but per her song..she wouldn't last very long on A.I.; it's called 'pitch' Jen - you really need to focus on that.

Gee, do you think? These hacks have been canned more times than Billy Martin and have changed the color of their hairpieces more often than Spears. What's next for these lopes? Rexburg, ID I suspect.

When they say "spend more time with the family" replace with-the-family with fishing-for-better-offers. I think the producer is being given too much credit for the sake of sensationalism.

Not to mention this blog probably wants to cover it's ass for incorrectly predicting Ron and Don would be rejected by KIRO listeners and is now going for double or nothing predicting the producer's departure will be their downfall. Sorry, people don't keep the dial on Ron and Don because the producing is just so damn great - not in a million years - don't piss on my leg and tell me it's raining. I've never got the impression Ron and Don were being directed to act out of their element.

Many great radio hosts are fired frequently, finding a groove takes time and PDs like to mix it up on a whim. Everyone here should know that by now.

Jennifer and the two dolts do not get along at all. The chemistry for the last three months has been horrible. Ron and Don are not well liked at Eastlake and they have driven off a very good producer.

god, they are bad. It's the goon show. There is no place to go in the afternoon, Brian Suits is worse.

Oh come on, the R&D show is not all that bad. Their personalities are not your typical talk radio fare - they're not the politicals and they're not your typical shock talk hosts (which better describes their previous shows).

The success of the program shows there's a demand for a call-in show to discuss current events and pop culture. Its a cross between Keith Olbermann's Countdown and Evening Magazine for radio. The three personalities (and Jen was a major personality on the show) make for good entertainment. They all deserve credit for putting it together.

they've worn you down, Adjil. they're pap, and crap. an insult to my intelligence such as it is. After Dori, I'm gone for the night--KIRO is brain dead after 4.

Scmick - I won't disagree with you there - they're not my cup 'o tea either. But my point was they have tapped into a new market and provide an entertaining show for those who want to continue their workplace water cooler conversations for their drive home.

Like it or not, people get off on this stuff. :-)

Dangerous Dan

A lot of the rivalry between Don and Ron on issues sounds contrived. Maybe it isn't, but it too often sounds like one or the other is "protesteth-ing" too much.

But it's entertaining and much more compelling to listen to after a hard day at work than cranked up political talk (Savage? Suits?)

And it's LOCAL.

It'll soon become apparent how much Jennifer brought to the show. And with an expected ratings dip from the Mariners on KOMO, Bonneville might well decide to bail on these guys period.

Sounds like Jennifer is tired of being dumbed down...I wish her luck.

While I will miss Jennifer, I won't stop listening to Ron and Don. Their radio show got me hooked onto talk radio and I look forward to listening to KIRO on my drive home from work. The subject matter is (usually) interesting, and the format makes the show feel inclusive. I love that it is local. I also appreciate that they are not crazy (like Dori Monson). It is radio shows like this that will get a new generation of listeners (I am a 21 year old college student) interested in talk radio.

These two idiots used to be on here in Grand Rapids, Michigan. They were just a awful here as they are in Washington. I listened to show for 2 hours and couldn't take anymore. It won't/shouldn't be long and these two clowns will blow it here as well. Ron and Don suck period.
