Proving once again that 'right-wing' and 'humor' are mutually exclusive, crazy-pants Fox News hottie, Rachel Marsden again offers a cogent argument that 'right-wing' and 'sane' may be just as oxymoronic.
The long-legged ex-Canadian, Morticia lookalike was escorted out of Fox News midtown Manhattan studios by security Wednesday night for what the NY Post reports as "for bizarre and erratic behavior."
A source told Page Six: "She's out of her [bleeping] mind. She was doing crazy stuff."
The ultra-conservative Marsden was panel member on Fox's puerile "Red Eye" a late night, alleged comedy show that a NY Observer critic has described as The Daily Show "for drunk people."
This is no surprise to BlatherWatch readers, or those who follow the news in nearby British Columbia. Marsden has a past as a convicted stalker of a Vancouver talk host; as well as having made sensational (and false) rape allegations against her former college swim coach (and lover) that changed sexual harassment laws in Canada, and tore up the campus community for more than a year at Simon Fraser University. Read all the gory details here.
The sharp-tongued Marsden, 31, was reportedly being groomed by Fox News Channel's Roger Ailes as an in-house Ann Coulter, but apparently her personal idiosynchrosies once again has torpedoed her checkered career.
She has said, “Fifty percent of people want to sleep with me, and the other 50 percent want to kill me.” that doesn't leave much room for those who want to hire her, but she still, apparently, has her gig writing columns for the Toronto Sun.
Rachel, the woman scorned, is ostensibly shunning the hell-fury she usually hath, and taking this rather philosophically. She writes on her blog:
... I will no longer be appearing on the show, as I have been told that it is heading in a 'different direction' from its inception, and I am the 'first casualty'. As a political and news commentator, being a panelist on what had become a totally off-the-wall-and-into-orbit show was an interesting experience. It was also the first time that I was ever considered the 'sane one' on any program, so I am grateful for that unique opportunity and wish the boys the very best of luck.
Who cares!!!

Actually I don't mind a little Schadenfreude. I'm not to proud to admit I don't hearing about a little economic misfortune when it comes to Republicans.

Hey it didn't make me varify my post by putting the numbers and letters in the little box. Am I remembering wrong or didn't it use to do that?

I'm still required to enter a code, Robinz. Michael's blog seems to be entering the twilight zone . . . perhaps it's Rachel's influence.

Robin! I didn't have to enter a code this last time! What's going on, Michael?
Also, Robin, did you see my post recommending LOE? Did you check it out?

BTW, I'm listening to the podcast of Dave's show today. It's funny, I'm getting about 60 minutes of Dave's three-hour show! Wow! Sure are a lot of commercials!
They are talking about the Google feature of being able to go directly to street level and see specific address and streets in various places. Apparently, you can see Steve Job's house. They are talking mostly CA here . . . interesting.

Hey grace, go clean up some split milk, ok?

Joanie, I did. In fact I built a web page just for myself. It has all my favorite links and I reworked it tonight and added a link to LOE. It's very interesting. Also found a bunch of pods through NPR that I'm investigating. Listened to a play the other day. It was the Scopes Monkey Trial. Ed Asner, Mike Ferrel and some others. Very interesting. I LOVE PODS. :)
