The David Goldstein Show (KIRO Saturdays, Sundays; 7-10p) tonight:
7p: Jonathan Cohn of The New Republic joins Goldy to talk about his new book SICK: The Untold Story of America’s Health Care Crisis — and the People Who Pay the Price.
8p: King County Councilman Larry Phillips will take calls about the upcoming Parks Levy, county elections, and whatever you can throw at him.
9p: Rep. Adam Smith (D, WA-9) will speak with Goldy from the other Washington about the Iraq War debate and the defense appropriations bill, in which he's proposed "smarter" ways to fight terrorism.
(we double dare the brave geniuses over at Sound Politics, so scathingly critical of county government and the Democrats to call in. They're always bloviating about how inaccessible and unresponsive are the local politicians, yet their silence on the talk shows is ear-splitting).
Funny! One of my friends emailed me that video last week . . . good one.
Happy Mom's Day all!
