Wow. Guess we're not the only ones who think Peter Weissbach is obnoxious. Michael Medved agrees, as do a ton of listeners and affiliates- including the GM at KDOX in Las Vegas.
The washed-up Weissbach, 59, and KTTH host Dave Boze were Medved's Yom Tov goyim over one of the Passover holidays, and were scheduled to do another holiday fill-in soon.
But after an avalanche of kvetching e-mails and the Las Vegas GM adamantly refusing to broadcast the Weissbach/Boze team again, Medved says "never again."
We're hearing that Medved hesitantly agreed to let Weissbach (rhymes with pies-rack) take the mic at producer Jeremy Steiner's insistence.
Despite, according to our sources, that Medved says he "hates Weissbach on the air," he thought Boze's presence would mitigate his annoying-ness. He was wrong. We're told Medved said the show went "off the rails."
That, even after Weissbach had slathered him with obsequious flattery on the air.
We're not sure what will happen. Maybe Boze will do it solo or with KTTH morning co-squawker, Dan Sytman.
We nominate Goldy, who is Jewish, though not observant enough that he wouldn't really appreciate the shift.
What's that, another wingnut foaming mad about nothing? Whatever.
Medved's about as relevant as a Pet Rock anyway.
It's a lot like Nazis vs. Communists...as long as they're fighting each other, we all win.

Medved has got to be the most smug, prissy, squirmy, slimy little shit I've heard on the radio in a long time. What a rotting shit he is.

Weissbach/Boze are entertaining. Medved might have been bent out of shape because neither one of them are water carriers for the Republican Party (i.e. Bush-bots). Weissbach fills in for Michael Savage periodically, who also gives Medved heartburn.
They also have a touch of irreverence that I find refreshing, even though Weissbach can be irritating and short with people (which Medved also has been known to be).
