mercifurious

From an earlier pile of DuffMAN:
She is OUR STANDARD BEARER...don't you get it.

Again for the terminally stupid: The DNC (ie, "we" minus Duffy and mouse) has not CHOSEN it's "standard bearer" (interesting choice of words there).

The DNC will not choose this person until NEXT YEAR.

So to answer your question, "NO" I do not "get" your terminal stupidity.

Seriously folks. Has anyone ever heard a progressive/liberal/Democrat use the words "bandwagon" and "standard bearer" so routinely?

Add to this Duffy's baseless stances against Ritter and Gore (using DRUDGE as a source!!!!!!)- how can you not smell a Repug mole troll?

Duffman

I don't think Drudge is ever a souce, simply a conduit...again think as you will. Must go for now; thanks for a spirited banter - I've enjoyed it...and to think I don't believe you used the F* word once...very cool!

sparky

Trolls are usually best left unfed....

mercifurious

Uh, well if you dont THINK Drudge is a source, then WHY did you use him as a source when going after Al Gore?

So just a conduit? Did you learn this from your years in college using "Conduits cited" page?

"Hi, my name's Duffy. I'm a loyal Democrat, a learned scholar, a college grad, and own bridge in London. Wanna buy it? Do you buy it?"

Duffy should start his own blog. Democrats who use Drudge as a source (uh excuse me, conduit), their mice, and those who believe them

cowpotpi3

Duff, being a loyal standard-bearing Democrat who is fully on the bandwagon, you do realize how silly it sounds that you're defending the use of Drudge's crap. You said he was a conduit...to where? To talking-point right wing sewers, that's where. Bah why am I bothering.

Duffman

"NPR will announce this week that former Seattle talk host and producer, Luke Burbank will co-host a new alternative to "Morning Edition," aimed at for 25-44-year-olds, according to the New York Times, today."
[Was out on my morning jog...and that takes a while for a 'fat bald Repug'] (What's fat & bald have to do with anything?...do you discriminate?..now you've hurt my feelings)
Sorry, I've never listened or claimed to...this was taken from top of this blog. Nice try.
I note the 'pact' has gathered and attacked.
Very typical...but I will continue to be POSITIVE.

mercifurious

Wizard of OZ reference, Duffy. Pretends to be a big-shot until Toto pulls open the curtain

Duffman

Appropriate response for someone who apparently lives in 'wonderland'. Will be watching..and waiting for the flavor of this blog to turn to Mrs Clinton...I believe (hope) it WILL happen.

cowpotpi3

Duff, they aren't living in Wonderland for using their brains and selecting a candidate based upon their values. It doesn't get more American than that. What does weaken us is the "voter nullification" cynicism that currently permeates a sizable group of people, the idea that our votes do not matter due to money or some other force manipulating things.

Now I don't know what your personal motivations are, but I will say that if you're being disingenuous there is really only one person you're deceiving.

Duffman

CP3, You make a lot of sense and I agree with you up to a point. I happen to believe that yes you select based on your values (and what you believe is genuinely important for this Country) I happen to believe it's 'health care'. I'm certainly not being disingenuous when I say that I believe in my heart of hearts that Mrs Clinton is the only candidate who has a real concern here and who will actually try to do something about all the folks (especially children) in this Nation who don't have some sort of coverage. I think this is abhorrent and should not be tolerated. So, in MY mind - I hope you will understand my enthusiasm for her (& for them, as I've said I believe it to be a package). Even tho I many not sound like it at times, I can assure you that I'm as far from the Republican way of thinking as any 'independent' can be. I too support the person I feel will do the best for this Country (within my value structure) and that has never happened to have been a Republican.
It matters not whether you believe me or not - I would just like to see the Clintons back in office...period!

Paul Duckworth

When was Luke "Skywalker" Burbank ever a talk show host?

blathering michael

Hey Paul: Luke had what he describes a "ridiculously bad Saturday show" on KVI.

sparky

NPR= Nice Polite Republicans station

I heard that on Bill Maher last week...heh

Duffman

Was Luke Burbank the KVI producer that won the Washington State Lottery?

coiler

he filled in for Ross Reynolds a few times, I didn't care for his style. Sort of like Warren Olney.
