The pluperperfect goddess of gridlock Erica C. Barnett, who knows all about transportation for The Stranger, will join El Goldito for a chat about the viaduct, and sundry transpo items. She's a senior editor at the indomitable downtown weekly, and a blogger in her own write.

Kudos to Erica for featuring the deplorable bill in Congress that would deny Medicaid or education funding for young women receiving the HPV vaccine...Once again, the Repugs want to inflict their (im)moral values on low-income women.

I'm really curious, who in their right mind would sponsor this bill and was it at a state level or federal level? Must be federal if it involves Medicaid. That is so....dumb.

Actually, The Stranger is on Capitol Hill, not Downtown. The Seattle Weeekly is Downtown though.
