Goldy

Actually, both Sen. Murray and Joel Connelly are in the 8PM hour.

sparky

Goldy..can you sneak in a question to Patty Murray about what she thinks of Haliburton moving its headquarters to Dubai?

Duffman

Yes, I'd be really interested about some in-depth analysis of this!

Duffman

Unfortunately I will be unable to listen in; Sparky w/you kindly let me know what is said about this subject. I'd appreciate it.

Steve

Puts, check this youtube video of the tacoma protesters.

Support our troops

Notice the masks and listen to the guy at the end.

Steve

Who made street medics illegal

Pugetsound

Wow

Note to self: when the cops tell you to disburse or your going to get tear gassed. Disperse.

I can attest that if you get a good whiff of tear gas it can really do a number on you in terms of shutting down your system and making you want to throw up.

Steve

Don't disburse, congregate

Steve

Joanie, Peasant, you can be part of it also on the 17th of March. Come one, come all, and lets see if we can get more participation here than they did at the St. Patricks Day Run in Seattle today.

Tacoma anniversary Anti-war demonstration will occur
2007-03-17

Anti-war demonstration in Tacoma. 4 years of war! Help build the movement to end it, please come out and show your opposition in the streets of Tacoma. March 17th, 2007. 11:00am rally starts at People's Park (MLK and S. 9th). 12:00 noon march begins. 1:30pm arrive at Wright Park where there will be music, food, spoken word, art, tables, networking, etc. Free!

Oh, and don't forget to bring something to cover your face in case of tear gas.

I did not put the free in there.

lukobe

it was my understanding the ceo was moving to the middle east, but not the entire headquarters

Steve

Oh Peasant, don't forget your sign in the back of your car window.

Steve

Now there's someone who can tell his great grandchildren he got shot in the head and survived.

Steve

If Goldy was talking about this he would have better ratings.

Steve

Goldy, when Senator Murray comes back on your show ask her if that guy who got shot in the head with a rubber bullet can qualify for veterans benefits.

Duffman

Sparky; do you know if this question ever got asked/answered?

chucks

Steve
That is a cool video. Thanks for the link. Of course Tacoma is a Military town and we are very proud of our police and how they handled those nutjobs. They can go back to Olympia or Seattle where they belong and let our military do their job. This comes from a guy who was the same kind of nutjob thirty five years ago when we got handled by LAPD, LA County Sheriffs and the CHP.
You see, I was stupid once and grew out of it. So will most of these kids.
