That lawyer broad SHOULD have been tried for treason and conspiracy, but she got a fair trial. What kind of police state does that?
I would love to watch Keith Oberman, but my cable provider does not include MSNBC. Anyone wanting to do a good deed, please contact Wave Broadband @ 1.866.928.3123 or on website www.wavebroadband.com and ask them to include this channel?
I would be grateful! Thanks!

It applies to american citizens, and Bushler has successfully gotten a law from Congress that allows him to have anyone he wants arrested--including you, umo--and you dont get a lawyer, a phone call or told why you were arrested
OMG, Joans....I remember Steve Titus! He was wrongfully convicted of rape and, but for Paul Henderson's stellar journalistic investigation, he would still be incarcerated (had he not prematurely died of a heart attack three weeks before his second trial). Tragic story...Jack Olson wrote a book about Titus, "Predator". It can and does happen here!
WTLH is correct. This is hardly unprecedented. However, the fact that Abe Lincoln was equally ruthless in setting aside inconvenient sections of the Constitution in order to fight his war doesn't make Bush's actions any more palatable.
Habeas Corpus rights are useless if you are dead. The 3,000 victims of the World Trade Center massacre died with the rights to habeas corpus. Fat lot of good it is to them now. The Arabs are trying to kill us. The President needs every tool to destroy those terrorist mofos.
"The Arabs" aren't trying to kill us. A few thousand psychos - who call themselves Muslims but would slaughter Muhammad himself if he stood in their way - are trying to kill us. Big difference.

U.S. Constitution, Article I, Section 9.
The Supreme Court has previously ruled, in the Eisentrager case, that habeas corpus does not apply to war prisoners held overseas.
