Why are any of these losers on KIRO anyway?

howie in seattle

And to think "Solid Potato Salad" was created in the year I was born. I couldn't get it to play on iFilm but did on YouTube.(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HSnowOgaFEY) Those Ross Sisters rock. thanks Michael.

Willis

I'll take Coco any day over Shires.

Kiana

why are you guys always speaking poorly of conservative radio hosts, but always glowingly of the liberal ones, even if they are less popular?

blathering michael

because we're a pack of liberals around here, Kiana. Let me ask you something: why do you stick up for conservative radio hosts and not liberal ones even if they are wrong?

Tommy008

FOR A GOOD LAUGH type in "thin-lipped republican bitch" in google and read the first hit(huffington post). Last night Matt Drudge played the audio of the hilarious internet ad that was pulled, but i can now find no copy of it on the internet.

Tommy008

ok i found the uncensored, original Sandra Bernhard internet ad on Utube.com go to the website and type on Sandra Bernhard in the search window

Tommy008

sorry Youtube.com not utube

joanie

Tommy, she has several videos - which one are we looking for? I'm out of the loop, I guess!

Tommy008

go to youtube.com type in her name and go to the second one down where the blurb says "lips and laura bush"

Kiana

I see, so this is a totally lib blog, so I shouldn't expect any even-handedness.
I never listen to liberal hosts, so I have no input on them. In the few posts I've made here, I don't think I've ever knocked any liberal hosts, for that very reason.

stodge charger

Wow Kiana, your shit is so sweet smelling. Next you'll tell us that Limbaugh et al are happly married folk who put in their hours down at the local mission helping the less fortunate. How's that for even-handyness?

James C Butler

So what happened to John Carlson's self inflicted wound. What is the latest on Mike Webb

Sam

Kiana, you're wasting your time. These people are sheep. They are also angry, negative, and hate-filled. Many people who post here are so narrow-minded that they believe talk hosts who don't think exactly like themselves shouldn't be on the air.

blathering michael

Sam: you are so right. We are hate-filled sheep. BAAAA! Motherfucker!
PS: we used to be creme-filled, but the doc cut us back on the lipids.

The Anti KIRO

Bob Van Dyne "Cocoa"

If only we could get Don and Dumber, Dori and Shiers on this list.

joanie

It is nice of you to know so much about us, Sam. BTW, what year did you graduate from Queen Anne?

Liz

I am currently listening on line to the Dori Monson show. I have never actually had this "pleasure" before. He has devoted an entire segment of the show to criticizing a news show in Boston that lost all its technology. He mocks the anchors for a good 15 minutes and then proceeds with a self aggrandizing story about how he "jumped in last minute" to do an interview for a television station where he was scheduled to be a guest.

It is a sad, sad statement when a "professional" journalist will dedicate so much news time to savage the capabilities of fellow broadcasters.

I've read plenty of criticism of Monson here and took it with a grain of salt. Seriously, as far as I am concerned, his critics here have been kind.

Tommy008

Those anchors didn't even sound that bad. You can't honestly say they made fools of themselves, because they didn't. They did the right thing by finally going to MSNBC. Monson says that in the fifties they could have improvised. Well, it ain't the fifties anymore, Monson, and there's no need to improvise beyond a few minutes, if you can go to an allnews network feed as a backup. This was just an opportunity for "Moose" Monson to bloviate and shamelessly "self-aggrandize", as you put it.

Sam

Liz, I'm going to educate you on a few things, so listen up.

Dori Monson is not a journalist. He's a talk radio host. His job is to entertain his audience, and get the highest possible ratings he can.

Your post and opionion has no cedibility with me. Why? Because it's one-sided. I have never read a post by you complaining about Democrats "criticizing" and "savaging" Katherine Harris for wearing too much makeup. I have never read a post by you complaining about Al Franken "criticizing" and "savaging" Rush Limbaugh's weight or abilities.

So until you show me you are consistant in your outrage over people criticizing other people , I will disregard any complaints you have.

Liz

Gee Sam, if you didn't disregard them, would it make any difference? And as for my "opionion", have you read any of my other posts? I often hold an unpopular position on this forum.

Tommy, I have to agree, I thought the male anchor did not do too bad of a job. Yes the female's voice did have a tremor, but surely the sound bite didn't warrant 3 plays.
He sounded very petty about the whole issue. Was it a call in show? He said the phone lines were full, but I didn't hear him take a single call.

Sam

Liz, lighten up. This is a message board, not a masters thesis. The fact that you correct spelling in chatrooms and message boards says more about you than it does about me.

But I understand human nature, and realize you are angry I corrected you in front of others.

I hope you realize now that Dori Monson not a journalist. He is a talk radio host.

sparky

Golly, what would we do without Sam?

joanie

Uh, Sam, remember when I asked you when you graduated QA? Well, sorry about that. . . I presumed you had.

Thanks for the insightful post, Liz. Dori is an authentic ass!

Tommy008

I snuck onto Webb's "rinkydinker" for a minute tonight. He was talking about Jimi Hendryx, with a guest. Funny thing, I find him just as haughty and annoying when he's talking about music as when he blabs about politics. He's got to be rivaling Lou Pate now in "annoyance factor". Don't forget , his trial starts up right after Labor Day. I believe I may attend. Moment of truth is coming, Webb- "The wheels of justice gring exceedingly slow, but they grind exceedingly fine."

Kiana

Sam, yep. If I wanted this kind of obscenity I could go to HA. Cross another one off the list.

joanie

Hey, Kiana, why don't you and Sam go to one of those big hotels owned by your conservative friends and watch TV . . . if you know what I mean.
