Talk about a list of some of the most boring people in the medium of talk radio. But then how would I know? I never pay attention to them. Even so they all just sound dull. Especially the laughing babe. I think I've seen her on tv. Never shuts up? Scornfully laughs at everything. Anyone got a baseball bat?

...stil wondering what a strap-on lulu is

DD

I enjoy and appreciate your updates on the local talk radio scene. I consider myself a moderate politically. In my opinion, your progressive liberal comments at times are quite entertaining but in no way taken very seriously.

Tommy008

Laura "the witch" Ingraham is all about feeling superior and elite herself as she rails against the supposed "cultural elites". She really has contempt for the average person. It's all about her Ivy League law degree, and her clerking for a Supreme Court justice {don't ever forget that, you rubes). Her imperious, cackling laughter, scorn and disdain greets all those who don't make the grade in her political and personal life.

Tommy008

What ever happened to Laura's much touted fiance, and impending marriage of several years ago? Now she mentions vacations by herself to Rio.

PugetSound

"What ever happened to Laura's much touted fiance, and impending marriage of several years ago? Now she mentions vacations by herself to Rio."

She has recently been fighting breast cancer. So far, it looks like she is winning the battle which has to be devestating. This might explain the lack of fiance/marriage. Just a thought. Cancer is a fairly tough fight.

ray

She takes vacations with "Penis Pills" Limpbaugh

sparky

come on, ray....you know a real man wont get engaged to or marry a women who has breast cancer....maybe that is why she likes Rush....

ray

Well, yes I'm sure you're thinking of Newt and his divorce at the bedside of his cancer stricken wife, but that would be shameful to bring that up, wouldn't it?

umo

Laura Ingraham is the right wing clone of left wing Stephanie Miller...for both of them every political topic is a punchline.

PugetSound

"come on, ray....you know a real man wont get engaged to or marry a women who has breast cancer....maybe that is why she likes Rush...."

Wow Sparky, I thought even you wouldn't be as low to score a political joke on someone's cancer treatment.
What next, some funny stories on MS?

sparky

Nice try, PuSo, but another F in reading comprehension for you.

Or else you really DO believe that men would not be attracted to a woman going through cancer treatment...

Tommy008

Michael Savage just admitted on his show that the Republicans are more racist, and more corrupt than the Democrats.

Fremont

Hey, Sparks, here's a strap-on lulu for you...

PugetSound

Sparky
I almost believe that someone is posting under your name. This is too easy.
Your post was fairly transparent.
"come on, ray....you know a real man wont get engaged to or marry a women who has breast cancer....maybe that is why she likes Rush...."

You were using someone's cancer treatment to score a jab at someone you don't like politically.

Try some of that stew -but make sure you stir in a helping of facts and chase it down with some logic. Much better for the thinking process than Pinot.

sparky

Fremont, you are a gem

Fremont

Thanks, I wish I were as sparkly a gem as you...

Tommy008

Frank Shiers is talking about the self-righteous prig who runs some country bumpkin pharmacy that refuses to stock the Plan B pils, on his say so. Dave Ross had the ass on this morning.......Frank doesn't realize that many people just can't stand him personally, it really isn't a left or right thing, since a lot of us, including me, listen to both conservative and liberal hosts, and can enjoy both, eveb though we may disagree.

KS

"Michael Savage just admitted on his show that the Republicans are more racist, and more corrupt than the Democrats."

I could believe corrupt, but hard to imagine he said they were more racist.. That goes against what he has said in the past - ridiculing Jesse Hi-Jackson and Al Sharpton - say they are both bonafide racists used as tools by the Demoncats. He must have been railing against Bush and Rumsfeld again...

Tommy008

I'm an excellent listener, and he said exactly what I said he did. period. Furthermore, that's not really a stretch for him to say that. I've listened to him for years and he's never shied away from dissing the Republican Party and Rush.

Tommy008

You know, I really hope Tom Clendenning is listening to Shiers tonight. This could be a "jump the shark" show for him. He is making such an obnoxious, silly ass of himself in tonight's discussion of PlanB. i hope Tom is listening and thinks better of having him fill in the 9-1p.m. after this week.

Dana

Shiers used to be a teacher and never got over it.

If it's the lofty calling he always brags about, why isn't he still doing it, especially in light of his obvious dearth of talent as a broadcaster?

Tommy008

"a witness said he saw a woman and a man pushing each other, and she lost her balance" KIRO RADIO news report about the woman who fell under the wheels of a Metro Bus tonight, at Third and Pine. That's an even stupider place to have a fight than the middle of the Ballard Bridge, where a jackass tried to start some shit last week because he didn't like my looks.

joanie

Michael Savage just admitted on his show that the Republicans are more racist, and more corrupt than the Democrats.

Does this guy just talk in a stream-of-conscience way whatever comes into his head? I wonder if he believes everything he says?

joanie

Laura Ingraham and Randi Rhodes were both interviewed (individually) by Brian Lam on CSpan. Laura clearly won him over with her charm which was nothing more than laughing and silly put downs of liberals . . . he smiled and conversed more than questioned. But with Randi, he never quite left the inquisitor's role. Although she was well informed and passionate, she couldn't soften him up.

It was interesting . . . she really tried to get him to smile and he just wouldn't.

Tommy008

Joanie, I think Savage mostly believes what he says. His dissillusionment with Bush and the Republican Psrty has been a six-year evolution from being a rahrah man in 2000, to now, where he openly speaks conteptuously of W.and the "pubs". That doesn't mean he's a Democrat now- he's not.. He says some things for effect, but he has a very different show- a "wordjazz", streamy, wordy affair. If you put the shows in musical terms, Savvge would be a funky quartet with jazz string bass and drums plus muted horn and tenor sax as compared to the constipated marching bands of Limbaugh and Medved, marching up and down the field playing the same bombastic John Philip Sousa march, over and over.

AprilMayJune

What an excellent description of M Savage! Even though I am 180 degrees from his views, I still enjoy listening to him because of his delivery and honesty. I find him much more entertaining than the two unlistenable frat boys on KIRO. I switch back & forth between Savage & Franken; what a trip!

Tommy008

Yesterday Savage read a news story concerning how "piles of cash are growing for Defense contractors, as the pile of American dead bodies in Iraq grows. He cited statistics that revealed how since 911 the average defense co. CEO salary has risen from 190 times the average soldier's salary to 250 times. Do you the think the servile,"immodest mouse" Michael Medved or cigar-chomping bufoon Rush Limbaugh would ever report this story?

KS

That's why I am generally bored by both of them - Medved & Limbaugh - also both Reagans. Savage vs. Franken would be no contest. Stephen Colbert probably has the best political perspective - often absurd and it seems like he demonstrates what it is as described in Savage's current book - "The Political Zoo".

joanie

Wow, Tommy! That was an awesome description of style . . . I think I might want to take a listen. It seems to me that he might be helping out the Dems whether intentionally or not. Although it sounds as though he knows exactly what he's saying . . . even though it may sound improvised?

joanie

Klueless, still waiting for the Air America hosts whose rhetoric advocated nuking and poisoning anybody. " And you can't use PutS's. You said you listen to AA so it shouldn't be hard to name something.

BTW, your last post is totally confusing. What are you saying?

raccoonradio

Laura Ingraham is one of the highest rated talk hosts in the country and has written best-selling books. Her show is fun (Lie of the Day, Sound Bite of the Week, Guess the Larry King Guest), etc.

Always entertaining; not as abrasive as a Savage or a Coulter, though those on the Left would probably think she is. She has some from the Left on as part of debates.

mark

Savage is an act...A multiyear farce to see how many people he can wind up. He is not conteptuous of his enemies, he is conteptuous of the people that take him seriously.

Francis Bagbey

Got onto this website when looking for something else. Just more evidence of the derangement of the those on the left of the political spectrum and your lack of compassion and sense of humor, the kind who think Keith Olbermann is clever and insightful. He almost chokes on his bile in spitting out his hatred of anything not "progressive." And Mike Reagan, the "lesser brother"? Really, now, a crack at his being adopted? And Laura Ingraham is the bad one? Just hope all you lefties and Dems, all presumably voting for the Obamanator, have the money to pay for all these programs he's proposing because there aren't enough of us making $250,000 to pay for it.

coach suitcase

Nevermore will I be satisfied with yesterday's accomplishments nor will I indulge, anymore, in self-praise for deeds which in reality are too small to even acknowledge.
