We're not sure how we got this information wrong, but the omnibus hearing for former KIRO talk host Mike Webb will be April 21, and his court date will be May 4. (Not March 21, and April 4 as we reported).
Webb, a progressive evening talker was arrested and charged with felony insurance fraud in December then almost immediately stripped of his longtime show shortly thereafter by Entercom bigs. He has pleaded not guilty. Read our Mike Webb files:

Anybody listening to his webcast? I haven't for a while. Am wondering if he's doing it again and if it is live or repeats? Any guests?
Can't believe I'm watching Scarborough Country . . . they are talking about Tom Cruise. BORING! Think I'll try that KGO stream, Sparky.

Gene Burns is pretty good but Bernie is my man..

I listen to Mike at mikewebb.org. His show tonight was pretty good. The guy is smart and has some passion. He's not like lollipop Monson who talks about cell phones in movie theatres as bombs blow up all over Iraq! God forbid I have to listen to Ron and Don.
I remind everyone to go to ronanddon.com and see what these jokers are all about.
For god's sake let's wait for the Webb case to finish before judgement. I'll do the same when Dori gets his IRS audit for the free shit he receives from sponsors.

Mike Webb was the main reason I listened to 710KIRO. He was fun with his rants and raves about the crimes that Bush and company where doing and not apologetic when confronted by regressives like so many progressive media personalities are. As for losing that gun that Mr. Hood suggested, no way! I like progressives, like Mike Webb and Bartcop, that pack. You'll wish you were packing when the Thought Police come knocking at your door.

I'm pretty sure Dori and other talk show hosts have a clause in their contracts prohibiting them from personally profiting from endorsements (anything of a "material" nature), but perhaps somebody on this blog does know how hosts are compensated for endorsements?

RonandDon.com RIP 2006
The Anti KIRO trying to expose those two imbeciles Elmer Fudd (Ron) and the Coyote (Don) at least got their ridiculous website shut down.
ronanddon.com is no more!
I'll patiently wait until the guys are off the air for good.
It's time to get a serious evening talk show host at KIRO...maybe someone that has a high school diploma.

OT: Fears grow over new Dubai revolt; Congressional investigation may provoke backlash...
Bush, assorted Arabs, Bush's nephew (imagine that) had said, in summary, that the American public's reaction to the Dubai ports deal was prejudiced and ignorant.
Did they all forget that the nineteen hijackers were from various Arab countries? What the fuck do they expect?
The business men in question might not have had anything to do with 9-11 but they hold positions of influence in a country that could have done its part to educate their populace about how America 1) isn't "the Great Satan" and 2) they profit by partnering with us.
Bush and his administration have done practically nothing to educate our culture about them or their culture about ours and yet they feign surprise that we have fresh hostility towards Arabs?
A few months prior Arabs were taking to the streets over the fucking Danish Sunday morning comics of all things, even trampling one another to death by accident, and the plutocrats acts surprised at our attitude towards Arabs?
For those elitists to call us common folk ignorant while at the same time avoiding responsibility for their own culpability is doubly outrageous.

Are there any lawyers out there who know if Webb is likely to see jail time without any criminal record, over a conviction on the full felony charge as it stands now without any pleabargain? If so, how much time, and where would it be served?- in County Jail or prison , hopefully with a Republcan Bubba, with American flags all over his cell.

You guys are being tough on Webb.
Haven't any of you been pulled over for speeding? been audited by the IRS?
Let the process run its course.
Again, I give the guy credit for starting his own webcast and continue ot beat his drum against a corrupt Administration.
At least Webb isn't part of the herd like Dori Monson. Dori wishes he had a leg to stand on with his ridiculous positions. The guy throws around attacks without an ounce of evidence or fact. He's a loser that looks a EVERY issue with a SIMPLETON Joe six-a-pack perspective. Shallow Dori. Shame on you!
You bastard killing our soldiers over nothing. Your're off the air VERY soon!

Steve
Direct your anger toward folks like Dori Monson that cheapen debate about topics by crying the "sky is falling". Dori's more concerned about his endorsements than he is about the public good.
At minimum Webb is giving it a good shot. I doubt anyone knows the facts here but Webb and the cops.

Steve's attack is so hateful, one sided and stupid that he makes him look exponentialy worse than whoever he's attacking. If Steve's enemy represents Steve's opposite then Steve's insults realy serve as compliments.

No, anti-kiro, the facts are well known. He is introuble for insurance fraud. I have to wonder why you cut him so much slack. Your "take" on Webb's ability as a radio personality is what trully scares me. The man is/was paranoid, was NEVER a great listener, was rude to call ins that didn't agree with him, and he is a self loathing extreme leftist with a penchant for hyserical rhetoric.
Thank what ever god you might pray to that Mike Webb is off Kiro. We are ALL better for it.

Ron and Don are unlistenable. I hate getting personal, but they're morons. Someone high up decided to give a couple of shock jocks a 4-hour talk show and that person should be fired. Then fire Ron and Don. Beats the hell out of me. Their show is terrible.
I personally was responsible for shutting down the ronanddon.com website. It was a true embarassment.
Re: Webb...unless you know the facts, a case like that will be issued a 200 buck fine and then everyone moves on...he didn't kill anybody.
I don't always agree, but Webb has a pretty good show and it's probably financed from his own pocket. Give him a break.
At least he's not Dori Monson that never allows debate, never checks facts and should NOT be on the radio.

I gotta say I like listening to guys on the left like Webb and Mike Malloy who I often disagree with for being too far to the left... It makes me feel I'm not a wingnut, but a thoughtful and moderate progressive.
